THIS BOOK WILL CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT ME

Exquisite examination of very misunderstood ideas
Nathan Filer is compassionate, open minded and lazer focused in his examination of the nature of serious mental "illness" and different ways of being that our world is not built for. I would highly recommend reading this book to everyone who has not lived with these things themselves or has a family member who has this kind of mental existence. He has given us a well researched and a little frightening examination of mental health services and drug treatments that every adult should know about. Please read this book if you have ANY interest in mental health conditions and the services that are supposed to treat them.

Not as described
Terrible waste of time and money. Absolutely gave no credible information about the subject.

Oportunidad perdida.
Se comprende la intención de revisar los conceptos de enfermedad mental y del peligro de convertir conductas no habituales como enfermedades.Pero no aporta alternativas para enfocar mejor una estrategia más integradora y más favorecedora para las personas que sufren con estos transtornos.

I thought it was different
This book for me was a disappointement. It is certainly well written, the author knows the subjiect, but I expected something different. He is a nurse of a pschyatric ward, I thought he would talk about his experiences as a nurse. I have been recovered seven times in a pschyatric ward, I am bipolar, and I was curious to hear his experiences with the doctors and the patients. I don’t need another manual on mental illness, I hoped to copmpare my experiences with the experiences of him. I will give three star because of the writing.
