Q: What does the size large translate to size comparison for mens pants Ex. Waist and length size?

I am not sure in terms of size for men's pants. I am a 5'4" female and got the medium which are a bit big on me. The length from waist to ankle (40") and width of the leg (14") and the leg inseam is 30". The waist (approx. 27") fit fine very snug elastic. I like the thick canvas compared to the other thinner bee suits, but I haven't tested it on a really hot day just yet.

Q: Anyone know what the XL translates to in waist size? I can't get them to answer either through amazon nor their own website.

They were not overly big, yet they were not overly small either. They have thick elastic waist with a draw string as well. I consider them similar to comfortable work sweat pants with a little room. They are big enough and have elastic at the waist and ankles, so that more than one member of our family can wear them. However, if you are looking for a fashionable cute tight pair, for looks, this is probably not the fit that you want. If you want to be comfortable and not get stung under usual conditions, I think this would work and last many years. I love mine, but they are hot and heavy which affords protection. Protection was my bottom line. I do not wear them skin tight because I have observed the length of the honey bee stinger and I wish not to get stung in the legs. Again, I really like mine and bought a pair for other members of my family that help with the bees.

Q: Will these protect your legs from yellowjackets & wasps stinging in the yard?

It has worked for me. I am allergic to stings. Bought this for when i mow. Saved my ankles and legs. Previous summer prior to these wasps got my ankle. An epipen, day in the ER and a $2,000 ER bill later I had the idea to get these. So far they have given me some peace of mind and added protection. They are hot as heck so best to mow in the evening which have the added bonus of wasps and hornets to be winding down a bit.

Q: What are the measurements of the inseam for a size large?

A jean size 14 woman can wear the large and extra large. I get them big enough to go over my clothes. They have an elastic waist and also a draw string. The length of leg seems average to me and is good stuffing for the rubber boots to protect the calves and feet. They fit like sweat pants used to fit, before 'tightness' came in style. They protect me and this is why I like them.
