Deadwood: The Complete Series (RPKG/DVD)

One of THE best shows. I've watched it several times already. My uncle was an extra in every episode. Always fun keeping an eye out for him.

My husband hasn’t stopped watching this. The CD’s are all great!! So pleased with this purchase. The price on this set I ordered was great! This package was about half price of other offers on the same thing on here. We have had no problems with the CD’s. I recommend this package.

Buy the series. Own the series. Enjoy the series over and over again. That’s how good deadwood is. You wanna make sure that if you have a great DVD player, and a great DVD player is necessary to see every nuance of the series. The acting is incredible. The storyline, most interesting. It makes you wonder what it would be like to live in the 1870s in Deadwood, South Dakota as the wild West rises in its quest for golden riches.

Love this series so much I purchased the dvd box set. Sadly 1 disc did not read/play in any of the 4 players I have.

Great series however it has a ton of language in it, every sentence seems to have at least one cuss word in it. I still enjoyed it and it was a great series

Everything I have heard about this series is true. In the first episode they clearly used every curse word known to man, murders were common, whiskey was the drink of the day and whores were everywhere. Plainly put there was constant nudity and vulgarity. When there are no laws or police to enforce the law this is how human beings behave. This series is not for children, or people with strong religious convictions, the series can be hard to watch at times, much like the series 1883, and yet still I feel compelled to finish. The acting is great and they pull no punches, anything goes. Spoiler alert: Upon completion of the series I can tell you I was not impressed with the ending, I get the point but I keep asking myself why would anyone want to go through all the mental anguish and associated nightly dreams for such a non eventful ending? The rating should be XXX

I love westerns and i loved this series and was so sad when it suddenly ended. (2004 to 2006) Now, at least, I have the show to watch again whenever I want. I already bought the movie that was done (2019). There is a lot of violence (killing, etc.) but the thing that stands out the most is the vulgarity. If course language offends you...this is NOT for you. The acting is great and the scenes and scenery are authentic. You will have your favorite characters, but don't get too upset if they get killed off.
