Helps them be better prepared for class
Bought so my grandson could read ahead and be better prepared for class. His school has few text books so it great to have one that he can hold and read when he needs to.

I like this book overall
I like this book overall. It is not broken up into daily/weekly lessons. I would love to do the experiments as we go along, but the materials needed aren't necessarily available in the cupboard. If I don't look a week ahead and see exactly what supplies are needed and put that on the shopping list, then we get behind on the experiments. Would like to have a materials sheet for each week outlining what is needed for the experiments upcoming.
