A lot smaller than in the pictures
Even though the title says mini, I was expecting medium sized sponges seeing the pictures. But, they're very very small. Not exactly sure how to use them maybe as a replicate for smaller brushes. Was disappointed due to the small size :/

Bristles problem
The bristles started to fall from the brush when I took it out of the package.

Good for cosmetic camouflage
I am a man in his forties who has never used makeup in his life. I have a facial disfigurement however which has worsened with age to the extent I have to deal with constant questions and comments from other people - although I do not really mind this (used to it) it has proved problematic at times. I basically look like I have a large bruise below my eye. Due to this I saw a skin camouflage practitioner recently and was prescribed a couple of products to cover the area, the first being a type of 'foundation' fixed in place with powder. Applying this with my finger was difficult and the sponge supplied with the product fairly useless. Based on reviews I bought a pack of these and they are fantastic - I am able to build up the cover through a dabbing action and the small size allows me to navigate around my eye with ease. I haven't tried to clean it yet but keep it in a small airtight box so it does not dry out, a month on the first sponge is as good as new. I accept my opinion is somewhat uninformed, but hopefully it may be useful to somebody.

Questioning whether real or not
This feels so different. I’m so confused; I thought these were legit as they are sold under Real Techniques on Amazon. I’ve been using the RT miracle complexion sponge for years now but usually always buy from Superdrug. This packaging says ‘new look’ but something just doesn’t feel quite right with these. It has a differently texture when I soak it under water, it doesn’t bounce back to its original shape as quickly, it’s sort of like a really slow memory foam. It absorbs a lot of foundation. It also has a little code ‘C0029’ underneath the RT logo on the sponge, my old ones don’t have this.Unless RT have recently changed their sponge and given it a different texture, then I’ve been sent fake ones.UPDATE: They’re definitely not real. I bought some from Superdrug to compare and they are absolutely completely different. They’re much harder than the genuine ones, don’t soak up water the same way and the texture is just off. The code printed underneath the logo is different too. How have they got away with this?

FAKE PRODUCT ALERT
I have been using Real Techniques sponge for long enough to know this one is fake. As soon as I wet the sponge it went out of shape so badly and it has weird bubble and smell to it. The real one has a nice smell which is similar to their brush cleansing gel. The harder I tried to squeeze water out of it, the weirder it became. The texture is so different and it's like punching in my face. I bought it as a Black Friday deal but DO NOT BUY FROM HERE GUYS!

Be careful buying this product from Amazon…
I use these beauty blenders almost every day and have done for years. I have always purchased them from boots, Superdrug or asos. As I wasn’t going out anywhere or ordering on asos I looked on Amazon and they were on a good priced deal so I decided to order one on here. I used the same makeup I used yesterday and the product applied as normal to my face but I instantly noticed the sponge having loads of dots appear that were green and black in colour, almost like mould?? (See photos) it can’t be my makeup products as they have been fine on my beauty blenders this week and are less than a month old. None of my blenders have ever done this. I tried to wash it and it wouldn’t come off. I also never applied any makeup to the top of the sponge and it’s appeared there too? My skin has been fine but this has really put me offI spoke to Amazon who said it was genuine but I’ll be buying mine from my usual places in future…FYI this sponge was brand new today, it is not old

Good product but not for me. Gave me seborrheic dermatitis
After a week of usage I've developed seborrheic dermatitis for the first time in my life. I kept the sponge clean at all times in a glass jar. I believe it's just the nature of such products to harbour bacteria and fungi. I'm still recovering.
