I am a professional cabinet installer and have been using this light for over a year. I was sold from day one. If I need lots of light I pull the wires out of a can light in the kitchen and hang it from the center of the room, but just setting it on the floor still provides more than enough light. Before this light existed I searched all over and found the wobble light, which was awesome because it threw light in every direction but didn't blind you if you looked at it. This light is exactly what that light was, but smaller, lighter, brighter, and more durable. Other subs on the job always want to know where I got it. If you are a contractor and not satisfied with what you are using for temporary lighting I can say with confidence that you will not regret buying one of these big bright lights!

Despite having studied a multitude of reviews, along with all of the product specs, my initial impression at unpacking was, “How incredibly small.” I really expected to be disappointed, but then I switched it on (in a dark room)…what an incredible surprise! This clean, white light was every bit as bright as everyone else has described. I have already utilized it for a small painting job and in my latest round of garage cleaning/ reorganization. Not only was the size and portability awesome, I no longer had to continually move it around in order to have a clear view of my work (the hanging strap is a definite plus). No more directional halogen or incandescent trouble lights for me! I have already ordered my 2nd BigBright Light for a gift. If you haven’t already given the BigBright Light a try, you must. The fact that it is waterproof worked well for me, too, as I used it outdoors - at night - for spray painting some fairly large items. I believe the light it supplied was better than I would have had in my filtered-light yard during the day! Would be great inside for day or night, too, for tasks that require extra-good light... like painting walls, ceilings, trim, etc. If you are 'on the fence' about buying it, I suggest you grab one while available - and a spare, too! Once you've used one, you won't ever want to be without it.

this light just quit working the switch is broke on it...have not even had it for a year and certainly it saw no rough use. Now I have something I paid alot of money for and no way to return it. That is the one bad thing about Amazon buying I can't even find info to reach out to the seller

It works great, however it does not appear to be UL listed. That is a problem if used as temp lighting on a job site.

Very bright. Used for 1.5 years and then my wife accidentally knocked it over. It was sitting on the floor when it was knocked over so the fall was short, but the cheap plastic broke and the cylinder with the LED lights broke off.

I highly recommend this light. It is so useful and versatile. It seems simple, but it just makes sense! it gives off light in in every direction - 360 degrees. I used it in my basement and just hung it on a nail by using the light's strap. It lit up the whole space, so I could work and I didn't have to move the light. I have also used it in the attic and the garage, it lights up everything and is tough enough to withstand the abuse from my projects. A couple other features I like are that it is waterproof - I had to load a trailer one night in the rain. It worked great. And, the cord wraps up neatly and the whole thing is compact and easy to store or pack in my truck.
