Mouldmaster Mould Master Assorted Wood Veneers, 250g

Purchased this to use for my crafting work, to add an element of difference. However when they arrived too say i was disappointed was an understatement. I knew i was going to get a mish mash of veneers from the description and i was kind of looking forward to being creative, however what i received was a load of off cuts, some of which were badly broken. There were some usable pieces in the packet, which i tried to cut using a fresh blade, however almost every time i was unable to get a clean cut with the veneer shattering or cracking. Perhaps i just received a bad batch... i did not return them as i saw little point. Most of the peices ended up in the bin. Next time i will just buy a sheet.

I purchased two packs of this veneer and it is rubbish. Some pieces are so small they have little use. Larger pieces are split and or cracked.I had a tutor on my course take a look at it and said it is rubbish.As for packaging, it comes in a plastic zip lock bag. Amazon use there packaging, but this is only in transit at all other times there is no protection the product is degrading all the time. The end restult you pay for something that that is not the quality you expect when purchasing

I used this veneer for the first time in my artwork. It was glued over existing wood and weighted down during curing time. The various colours and types were great to produce light and dark in my artwork. Really pleased with the product. Working on a more advanced project at the moment and will use the assorted veneers again. Brilliant.

Great selection of woods and grain types. Thinnest was 0.4mm so not wafer thin. Max was 1.1mm. Most were 0.5mm. Several large sheets and some 120mm strips and a handful of 150x150mm pieces. I was looking for 0.2mm but what is in the pack is great value.

A good selection of veneers - some are a4 size and a variety of colours and grains. Some of the smaller pieces really only good for small patches/marquetry. Bought to repair a small amount of damage to the veneer on a teak sideboard, so ideal for that job. See photo where I was (attempting to) matching colour and grainIt is brittle as some have mentioned, but at this price I didn't expect the best qualityoverall pleased
