Valken Defender Hard Rubber Projectiles

These are great practice rounds. I wouldn't use them for anything other than practice, but for the money they're a good value. I sent about 3/4 of the pack downrange, and they performed nicely. Those plastic bottles didn't know what hit them!

The rubber balls fit perfect in my .50 cal black powder weapons. I have them stricktly for home defense purpose. Exiting from a .50, even with slightly dumbing down the load, they will hurt like hell. Grterat for my non-lethal home defense.

I bought these rounds for target practice and they're pretty good for that but I don't recommend them for self defense purposes

These are fine for shooting and obviously any projectile with enough kinetic energy can inflict pain but i was expecting something heavier and harder. These arent too much heavier or harder than the 11mm police training red markers ive been firing since getting my .43 s&w. Granted those two rounds are all i have fired so i cant say for sure that another type of ammunition like steel rubber balls or pvs coated steel etc are better but i dont see how they couldnt. I actually had to shoot a racoon jn the face from 7 ft away last night and he yelped and ran off which is less than self self defense but if a big rat with opposible doesnt even meed a doctor after getting hit in the face close range what kind of effect do u expect when shooting at a fully grown armed human being in a for of extreme anger or on drugs committed to doing u harm? Get something heavier and not quite as soft or pay the price when the tome comes

You have to yank the trigger back with enough force to be measured in foot pounds not inch pounds. I cannot speak to how they work in other brand or type launchers.

Great product

Use the ammo in the t4e ppq and they are harder than any others as well as do not deform while in the mag like the others. They shot straight through my vinyl fence clear both sides and are more accurate than any other besides steel which is considerably slower

They are really good only giving 4 stars because only got 20 balls not 25
