I highly recommend it because of the quality
We have it installed on side window, but I had the window tinted reflective brown so birds can see their reflection, this allows us to walk up to see the birds up close, (they will not come to a see thru window) it's much larger than our other feeder and more sturdier for heavier birds. A 3rd bottom suction cup would help prevent the bottom, from bumping up against the window, which is the sound that indicates we have a bird feeding. I highly recommend it because of the quality, size, open star sides and rubber perch for bigger birds feet.

Fun for the whole family
I love this feeder! It's so fun seeing the different birds up close. My elderly mom lives with me and has trouble getting around. She spends most of her time in her room so I wanted to bring as much fun to her window as I could. My cats also enjoy birdwatching! The feeder was easy to install and seems firmly attached to the window.

Photography safari from your home!
This feeder is the perfect fit for my situation. A well-conceived design, the Kanaryware feeder encourages smaller birds while discouraging local squirrels and very large birds. I also cannot say enough about how helpful and responsive the support has been from Kanaryware! As mentioned, I especially enjoy our smaller birds: house finches; pygmy nuthatches; mountain chickadees, dark-eyed juncos, etc. Over the holidays a handful of 'sloppy' larger birds (especially magpies) appeared attempting to muscle in on the feeder. The feeder's design made it both easy and festive to fix the problem. I simply strung a thin strand of garland from the end cut-outs around the front. This effectively divided the available opening nearly in half. The small birds still had plenty of room to land and feed, but the bullies were discouraged. Even now, after removing the decorative barrier over a week ago, they have not come back. The huge kick I get from my Kanaryware feeder comes not just from watching the birds' antics, but also in capturing nice images. Every wildlife photographer should have one and treasure it as the easiest photo 'safari' they'll ever take. These images were all taken through our glass of birds either at the feeder or in our nearby scrub oak.
