I was looking for an alternative to Dr. Bronner’s pure Castile bar soap that would be effective in the cold, dry New England winter. I initially purchased a single bar of the Bay Rum scent to try out. I was pleasantly surprised with the scent and my skin didn’t feel dry or irritated. I’ve since ordered the sampler 3-pack and each scent is fantastic. It is definitely mild, which I enjoy. It’s an all natural scent so it’s only going to be so strong without chemical additives. It has enhanced my shower experience and my skin feels good.The bar itself is thick and foams easily. The quality of the bar is triple milled so it will last a long time. I recommend storing it outside of the shower so it can properly dry in between uses and last even longer. This soap is a great value for money and easily rivals Dr. Bronner’s or Dr. Squatch. Highly recommended.

First, the scent of the Bay Rum is, to my nose, very, very close to Dr. Squatch's Bay Rum...very heavy on the orange and a little light on the spice. It's pleasant to be sure. The improvement over Dr. Squatch is that this is more hard milled and I'm comparing how long it lasts to Dr. Squatch. Pricewise, they're about the same. One more good point about this soap is that you can also use it as shampoo so the scent is all over. If this soap is as good as I think it will be, I may spring for the bottle of liquid soap that acts the same as the bar.

Soap bar was about the same size as a normal zest/ irish spring bar. Ive tried ALOT of different soap bars on amazon and this is a good overall price. I purchases the tobacco and vanilla scent. It did not smell like tobacco and vanilla but was not bad. The scent was good and lasted outside the shower. Someone said they had a residue afterward but I did not experience that. It did not dry out my skin and the end result was a good balance. I would purchase again. My only complaints are the size of the bar and lack of scent variety. Easy fixes.

Tobacco Vanilla. Tons of sudsy handsome smelling soap. Makes you feel clean and refreshed every time. The handsome scent lasts half the day. Makes your skin feel quite smooth after the shower. The soap lasted me about three weeks of showering twice a day. I really, really like this and will be ordering more!

This soap has a pleasant, mild bay rum scent and lathers well. It also makes my shower room smell nice. I plan to purchase more once I’ve used up my initial order.

I Love this soap! It’s filled with Natural ingredients, effective cleans well and leaves my skin moisturized. It’s worth every penny knowing it’s not filled with toxic ingredients.

I recently tried the Body Wash Castile Soap Bar for Sensitive Skin from Carolina Castile. While it has some positive aspects, it didn’t fully meet my expectations.The soap is gentle and does a decent job of cleansing without irritating my sensitive skin. The blend of olive oil, cocoa butter, and coconut oil helps keep my skin from feeling too dry. However, the Tobacco Vanilla scent didn’t turn out to be as pleasant as I had hoped. It’s more subtle than expected and didn’t have the refined fragrance I was looking for.Additionally, the soap is on the pricier side compared to other options. The size of the bar feels a bit small for the cost, and competitors offer better value for similar products.Overall, while the soap is gentle and has some good qualities, the unpleasant scent and higher price point make it hard to fully recommend. There are better options available if you’re looking for a more cost-effective and enjoyable body wash.

The scent of this soap is terrific but not overwhelming or perfumy. It does not irritate at all, and each bar lasts quite a while, too. I am definitely a repeat customer!
