Instructions 1. Plug in the USB power supply DC 5V. Press the power button to start to use. 2. When the electronic bug zapper is used for the first time, it is recommended to keep it on for more than 48 hours. During this period, do not open the mosquito storage box to prevent the undehydrated mosquitoes from escaping. It is recommended that the mosquito storage box can be cleaned once after 3-5 days of use. 3. Place the electronic bug zapper about 1 meter away from the ground. The darker the light in the mosquito-killing place, the better the effect. Avoid interference from other strong light sources, and the mosquito-killing effect in a closed space will be better. 4. When cleaning up mosquito remains, please cut off the power first, and then remove the mosquito storage box. 5. Pour out the mosquito residue and wipe the debris on the fan blades of the machine body to prevent the fan blades from jamming. Regular cleaning will help catch mosquitoes. 6. After cleaning, align the card position of the mosquito storage box with the card slot on the body, rotate the mosquito storage box to the right, and use it after hearing the sound and confirming that it is tight. Precautions for correct use 1. When using electronic bug zapper, it’s better to turn off the light or weaken the light in the mosquito trap area to avoid interference from other light sources (such as fluorescent lamps, televisions, light outside the window, etc.), which will affect the mosquito trapping effect. Avoid strong winds (such as electric fans, air conditioners) blowing the machine directly.

Doesn't work
It's meant to kill mosquitos and other bugs but it doesn't work. The reason why I bought it, it's because I have a problem of gnats in my plants (which look similar to mosquitos) and the only gnat it captured managed to escape from the storage box as it's not a closed system but it's like a grill vent container. Also the instruction suggests to clean the blades but unless you unscrew and dismantle the unit, you cannot just clean them easily. Really disappointed.

Great pest repellant
Bought as I hate having flies and daddy long legs around the house when I have the animal food out and about. Next door have a huge pond and I find that we have a lot of flying insects and I worry about them laying eggs in the food. It’s really simple to set up, makes almost no noise. The light isn’t distracting to people, but great for attracting insects. Very satisfying to empty the container and get rid of them all. Would recommend

A nice design, looks smart.
It doesn't have 360° UV lighting, but its quality is good and it looks really nice. But I couldn't work it from a timer as it has an electronic switch. When you plug it in it's live but is waiting for you to press the switch. This means it won't switch on with a timer, or a Tapo smart plug. I think most are like this now, so I bought one with a solar detector sensor, inteligent type, but they are quite expensive nowadays. I sent this one back, but if you don't mind switching it yourself, it's okay.

Absolutely rubbish
Wow - what a load of rubbish.Not only does it not do anything, most importantly it’s not portable and can only be used with a constant power source. Here was me thinking I could take it outside with me - where the mosquitoes are. No no, it has to be plugged in so if you don’t have a battery charger with you then no luck. You may as well stand a shampoo bottle next to you and hope that it has a better effect. The photo shows a bug sat on the filter that’s meant to suck them in. Total waste of money and effort.

Not for me!
I don't know how well this is going to work because the flashing blue light was so disturbing once the bedroom lights were turned off, I had to switch the machine off. It has gone back in the box and will probably go to a charity shop.

Not as good as we had hoped
We have used more conventional uv units which were very effective this product we had running for three weeks very little in the way of captured flys set in our conservatory. gone back to electrocuting the little devilsPlus side it does not take up much space

Love it
This is a great addition to our gazebo, no more mosquito can be dengue’s to us.Absolutely love it and will definitely recommend it.

It's noisy but it does get some bugs not as good as I would want it to be
