Powerful Fan
This is a professional grade product. Robust in all the ways that matter. In a Word Powerful enough to cycle all the air in a 3000sqft home in about 20mins. Keep small children and animals away from it. Sure it’s loud at 100% operation but it does the Job for those without AC in their house.Update: After 55hrs of continuous use at 100% capacity the unit has become significantly more quiet during operation: A Bonus after apparent unit break-in period.Update: 2nd Unit Received. Why are the angle adjust knobs on the sides different between the 2 identical model units received 30 days apart? Odd. The second unit is working perfectly. I am pleased with both purchases.Update2: several months of continuous use and the first unit developed a squeal. I was concerned about bearing failure but upon disassembly and cleaning the blade, fan motor body of dust and reassembly the unit runs as new. Lesson is to monitor dust buildup on the unit and clean monthly or as necessary. We use these fans in home so need to keep noise minimized. I was surprised by the amount of fine dust buildup.Final Update: 14 months of continuous use on 2 fans. I have started lubricating the motor shaft of each unit with light weight No2 oil when cleaning the units. This step has kept the units running as new. Very Satisfied with these purchases.Extended use updated: 3/21 years later I disassembled and hosed out the Inside of the fan barrel where dirt and dust had built up. Allowed to dry disassembled. Reassembled and they run as New.

Good quality, moves lots of air!
Moves lots of air. fairly quiet on low speed but noisy on high speed but it is moving a ton of air! blades protected from little fingers and has two built in outlets and a timer than cabin be set for up to 3 hours. I use mine on my outdoor deck and it provides a cool breeze all day. The motor is also in a water proof housing so if I leave it out during a thunderstorm no problem.

... as a house fan and it's by far the best fan I've ever seen/had
I'm using this as a house fan and it's by far the best fan I've ever seen/had. It's actually quiet on low and still pushes more air than any 20" fan we've had in the past. On high its noisy like any other fan but really moves air across the house.

Do not Purchase this fan.
Stay away from this fan.I've purchase this fan as i was looking for a fan that can move air quietly, when reading the reviews about how quiet they are and how people that had them liked them.I made the decision to purchase one to test to see how i like it.When it arrive i was excited and after using it for about a month i notice that it was working fine and made the decision to purchase a second fan, the second fan arrive and i was happy about themFast forward 3 months after the first one arrived and i started to hear this loud noise, it was a metal sound like bearing going bad. I've contacted the 3rd party seller and they mention that it only had 30 days for a return or exchange and suggested to contact the manufacture.I've visited the site and got in contact with customer support, after i email then i got an email back from Suzanne ([email protected]) which was very nice. I sent her pictures, video and invoices and she started to work on getting a work other to get the fan repair, as i'm working with her about this my second fan started to make the same noise, i explain to her how frustrating this was as shipping from FL to CA for one fan was about $87.00, she proceeded to explain to send her one fan and she was going to get it corrected and will send me instruction and part so i can fix the second device.Fast forward another 4 month and i'm now hearing the same noise, very frustrating.Thank you.

It will blow your hair back....
This is a really nice fan and it should be for the price. I especially like the fully controllable speed (like a light dimmer). It moves a lot of air even on lower speeds where it is fairly quiet. As others have mentioned, on high it gets pretty loud, but that is just the physics of fast moving air. This fan is advertised for indoor and outdoor use but on the fan label is says it is not to be exposed to rain. I am okay with that. My only minor complaint is that when I removed the rubber shoes on the metal stand I found that the paint on the metal was chipped and the raw steel was exposed under the boot. In Florida and outdoors that means rust is coming your way. I just hit it with some black spray paint and I am sure it will be good for a long time.

I dont know at what point it happed but handle was badly damaged when unboxed
Arrived broken. I live in florida, humidity is a constant problem. I bought this because a SEALED motor will prolong life. With broken handle water can get in and ruin its overall SEALED benifit. I can fix it but i shouldnt have to

Superman Fan
The media could not be loaded. I have ringing in my ears that drives me nuts. I wanted a loud fan. This is the loudest one I could find. Has enough wind to give my grandson plenty of lift and his cape plenty of "flap" when he's flying. That makes it the best one I've ever owned. He loves it. That's Good enough for me. A little pricey but clearly the best quality. You get what you pay for.

Mixed feelings about this one...
Pros: Variable speed control, low noise, high airflow, additional plugsCons: Noise! I expected the fan to be loud, especially with the variable fan speed control turned up. But the fan is vibrating itself to death it seems. After owning it for only two months the front grill has developed a rattle that seriously makes me wonder why I spent so much on this fan.My family and I use this literally every day and while it is overkill on the max speed, we use it as a whole house fan at around 70-75% of the speed dial. I just wish there was a way to prevent the front grill from rattling so bad. Maybe silicone can help? Who knows, but I am saddened to have to even deal with this rattle having paid so much for the fan.Update - 9/20/2018: The fan is now emitting a loud metal on metal whine every few seconds when it is running. Time to try and exchange it. I will continue to update my review on this. Not taking any stars away since it seems it might be defective and we will see how the replacement does.
