I love these lights. Our power has been off quite a bit lately, good ole Oklahoma weather, and these have helped light the way around the house. Because they come in a 4 pack the batteries have lasted a very long time. The brightness is great and can be adjusted simply by lift or closing the light canister. It doesn’t seem to get hot to the touch and can be used indoors or out. The set was definitely money well spent.

I have not owned many lanterns but I'm very big into flashlights in general. Though I do prefer a lantern that takes AA's along with 18650 housing so I can have dual battery capabilities, this lantern definitely fit the bill in every other category. I will still be on the market searching for what I am looking for when it comes to 18 6 50 battery capability. But when it comes to a lantern that only takes AA, low cost, and simple at best this lantern does very well. It is lightweight, it is easy to carry and compact like most retractable lanterns. I'm assuming the bulb in this is a Cobb bulb it is extremely bright and it looks like one that I've seen before. You do also have a small compartment up top that locks into place "lefty loosey righty tighty". The metal handles do tend to wabble around a little bit but for the money I think it's very hard to come by something that is better. Construction seems to be very generic and standard And it's not gonna fall apart in your hand but I would definitely not recommend dropping it too hard but it seems like it could handle a basic fall. I am very impressed with this product and I will be purchasing another set soon. So if you're looking for a good quality for a good price lantern that just has a great light distribution; get this product. I am sure you will be happy. Anyone is looking for a good battery life with any standard lantern I personally have had great experience after testing with specifically the Energizer max AA battery.

These are great! The light is very bright and you can adjust it easily to have a little light or a lot (the light cover telescopes). Fully opened, it provides quite a bit of light if the power is out. It's easy to install the batteries (not included). These are lightweight and easy to carry. There are a lot of different color combinations to match your decor. We got the 4 pack so we can have them all over the house in the event of an outage (we live in an area prone to tornados). The size is good too. It's about the size of a can of vegetables. We are very happy with our purchase!

This is a wonderful product! It's so bright. It's great for older people like me. Not only to see in the dark, but to read fine print. I keep them all over my apartment. One next to me for nighttime. One under the kitchen sink when I need to find things. One in the pantry that has no lights. And I actually gave one to a friend. After all they're small n portable, bright n so useful!

The lantern camping lamps have a goo bright white light, useful for camping in the woods the size is small. I don’t know about water proof yet. Value the money but I would like them to be a bit bigger in size. Easy to be carry around and pretty good if we lose electricity. Helpful little lamps. Thanks for sharing my opinion on this one.

I love this collapsible style latern. Very lightweight, but very bright light. I keep them stored in the little bubble wrap baggie and throw a pack of batteries inside each one for east access. I brought these to add to my emergency kit and so happy I did. I have not tested how long it will stay on with batteries, will test and provide an updated review

The light that comes from these lanterns are quite impressive. I bought these to use if necessary during hurricane season. It is a nice compact size to put in any room and it only takes like 3 AA size batteries that are unfortunately not included . And you get 4 which I find was a great buy

Excellent Product! People...get this product! I was totally shocked at how very well put together this product is. Even more surprised at the volume of light coverage it provides. I was like "no waaaaay"! Lol I took one of the lanterns from room to room. One lantern, literally lit up my entire bathroom, laundry room and closets. I was totally shocked! It's very easy to use and is extremely useful. It's made out of quality hard plastic. The color is nice. The weight is perfect. It takes 3 AA batteries. And the battery life depends on your usage. It's the type of product that you'll only want to use it when you need it, or for a quick use. It's very easy to use. The opening and closure mechanism is precision. I ordered the 4 pack in gray, and they're nice looking. I'm placing another order in a different color. This is definitely a keeper. Most definitely a keeper!

These are excellent for emergencies. When the lights go out I have backup. And very bright

These seem very durable and are very bright. Haven't used them yet but seem great .
