Gaming Case not for Diabetic Supplies
This case is about the size of a paperback book. As with another reviewer, I was required to cut out the interior dividers. They are for game memory cards and are very tight. You cant use them for anything thicker than an SSD card. The zippered compartment is very useable and works to hold lancets and lancing device. You could also put your meter and test strips in it. They will fit, but everything will be jumbling around together. I show that in a picture where it looks like things are tightly in place, but they are not. They rattle around against each other when the case is closed. Very noisy and I'm sure damaging to everything. The other option, which is mildly safer, is to put your meter and/or strips in the elastic pouch on the other side. But let me be clear.... They move around as well, just not as much. This is BARELY elastic. I tried to take photos to show that it doesnt snap down, theres a big space even when empty. If it is just laying at the bottom of a purse or backpack, the meter is probably safe to have in the pouch, but if you were carrying it around, it's going to be sliding around in there too. There is plenty of room left after closing it. With the equipment shown in the picture, it feels almost empty when carrying it, and you have plenty of room for other stuff, but it has no secure location. You could put bandages, alcohol pads, a notepad or panty liners in there and it would help keep things from sliding around, but that stuff would basically just fall out when you open it.My other issue is with it being called a hard case.... "Stiff" might be a passable word. The plastic is pretty thin. It bends like disposable food storage containers. It is not hard like the hard case suitcases. Much thinner material. It is easily crushable when closed. It feels like a type of card stock with a shiney finish. It does not feel like plastic at all. The appearance of a rough or textured finish in the photos is false. It appears to just be a printed design. The case is smooth. If you squeeze gently where the edges are (photo), it folds like thick paper stock. It seems like it is just cardboard with a plastic spray coating. You can cut it with your fingernail very easily with almost no pressure. The Naugahyde type hinge tore just from me moving it around to take pictures. I only received it in the mail about an hour ago. See photo. The rubber handle attached to a nylon strap is is bendable and comfortable on the fingers. There is a lot more room than it appears in the pictures for the item. The highest quality part of the bag is the Zippers. They created an item that looks like it is very good quality in photos. Even if you look at my close up picture of the zipper, the case finish looks classy and expensive, but its just a machine spray-on finish over some sort of cardboard type structure. It is NOT a plastic hard case.If I had not cut out the dividers to try to make it workable. Maybe worth $3 as a cheap case for extra usb cords and SD cards. I would certainly not trust using it for my diabetes supplies, nor my electronics.

This is basically a Nintendo DS Case
This is basically a Nintendo DS case. The inside flaps are useless for anything other than DS games or SD cards. Cannot even fit a pen needle. The inside pockets too large/loose fit to secure glucose monitor or insulin vials. My son needed a hard case for his backpack to keep backup supplies. I am going to have to cut out atleast one flap so that it closes with supplies in it.
