Bought these for a trip to Germany. I've used lots of different plug adapters and these are my favorite. They fit really well into the german socket. Other ones I've had have been bulky or weighted in a way where plugs would sometimes fall out, just because of the relatively long distance from the plug. (this Is hard to describe, but I bet some have experienced it with the big and bulky adapters). Will be buying more of these. Priced right and delivered perfectly. Love Amazon.

These are outlet adapters, not transformers, but for most items that travelers need to plug in (iPad, notebook computer power brick, cell phone USB to AC charger, camera battery chargers), no transformer is needed, as those items will typically accept voltage ranging from 110v to 240v, so this is all you need: a device to convert the European form factor to an American style three-prong outlet. They work, and they cost next to nothing!

The adapters worked well, until one of the covers broke off after about a month. However, that is only due to the plastic being on the cheap side. There was no problem with the functionality.

These are made very cheaply. One worked and one did not. Luckily I had an extra.

Perfect for our European River Cruise, meters right. Fits perfectly, well-made. For some (me) it looks like the brass piece sticks out the side, but my brain focused on that. The brass in the center of the left photo is flat with the adapter and is the ground side. I asked questions about it and the people that replied were very nice and did not see the optical illusion I saw.I recommend these, would buy again, and I hope this helps someone.

These are pretty much junk. I have 5 of them and have been using them for a week. All of them have lost their ability to grip the blades of the US plugs. Some are even to the point where you put the US plug in and it gets spit back out after 30 seconds or so. Won't make this purchase again.

I bought these to use during my time in Europe and they were great. They arrived at my house in a little baggy, that I used to store them in the whole trip. They worked great in each city that I went to (Paris, Amsterdam, Munich, and Barcelona). I love that it comes with 2 in case you have more than one device or like me and left one in a hotel, so having an extra really worked out for me. I would recommend these to anyone traveling abroad.

You need to break these in because they have a tendency to pinch your plug out. Nomsayin? Like, the american male end keeps squeezing out. It's like the female end is too small, or frigid, to receive the plug. It's working better after a couple of days, but it's annoying, and there's no reason they can't size such a standard part correctly.

Este producto lo llevé concretamente a España. Funcionó muy bien siempre y el precio es muy bueno.No tuve ningún problema en este contacto europeo. Lo llevé complementando otras clavijas adaptadores porque lo que sí encontré en algunos lugares es que la circunferencia del enchufe puede ser más angosta o más ancha y es ahí que éste me salvó al tener el tamaño correcto.En lo personal llevé un multicontacto mexicano y soportó muy bien que lo conectara a este adaptador y el adaptador a la pared.Muy satisfecho de haberlo comprado de ultimo momento y que me haya llegado de un día a otro con Prime.
