Useful list of all thinking errors
I am an IT professional and a part time investor. A blog post recommended this book along with "Thinking fast and slow" to understand the behavioural psychology of our decision making process. To me, the title appeared superfluous first. It turned out to be a beautiful summary, not more than three or four pages per chapter, of various biases and fallacies. The book scores very high from utility point of view thoughnothing what Rolf has written appears original.Rolf intended this to be a list of Thinking errors which he would glance over before taking any major decision. It could serve same purpose to the reader.Epilogue at the end of the book is a must read.

Great one
This book is essence all theories of rational thinking . In fact you can apply many of these in your life. I also suggest reading power of habit along with book. Both together give much clearer idea of our thinking process.

Poor paper quantity
I've bought the hardcover edition. It does have hard outer cover but the paper is just as same as, or even worse than the paperback one. I'm feeling cheated. Haven't read the book yet so can't make opinion over that.

It may help you to think clearly.
It is a book on human biases, heuristics, errors etc. There are total 99 chapters (99 biases) and each chapter is 2.5 pages long. Book is practical in application unlike other self help fantasy books. The author explains each bias with an example or a story. The explanations are short, simple and clear. The bad thing is it has 99 biases, some of which could have been combined, also author repeats similar stuffs. Some of the listed biases aren’t that important. You need to read the book steadily to reflect and remember. If you are new to psychology and cognitive stuff then I will definitely recommend it. But if you are into psychology already then you may find it basic and get disappointed.

Written Clearly too
If you've ever read authors like Daniel Kahneman, and wished you could have brief summaries of key cognitive biases, then your wish has come true. Rolf Dobelli has collected all the cognitive biases established by research, and written up each of them into a concise chapter of just a few pages. Each cognitive bias is explained, illustrated with an example, and remedy suggested . Rolf Dobelli's writing is crisp, conversational, and peppered with wit - sometimes acerbic, sometimes wry, sometimes ironic - making you chuckle as you read. This book is to be read and re-read. Buy a Kindle version, store it on your phone, to be entertained and stimulated, and you will begin to catch yourself on the brink of cognitive pitfalls, and step back in time!

Good content, not so good hard copy
Book contents : The book is interesting. I know many of the fallacies mentioned but there are many coming to my knowledge now.Book : Few pages as shown in the image have damaged pages. When they taking full money they should give full quality.

If u want to learn about type of biases then go for it else a big NO
The title of the book should have been multitude of biases , it is definitely not a self help book , it has phethora of interesting examples to glue the reader with facts and different types of biases but it says nothing to avoid those biases . Definitely we all have Google to type in and learn about various types of biases might be of help to psychology scholars but wouldn't recommend this book in general.

Only read if you're happy to get value from 5%of your reading time
Sloppy thinking. Poorly chosen examples with obvious floors. Sloppy logic. Several nonsense claims treated as "facts" without any even cursory attempt at supportive evidence. I could give numerous examples through what I could bear to read (nearly stopped at 25%, continued on the basis that I might get something useful from perhaps 5% of what I read, which to be fair I did, but come 50% just too annoyed to continue); but I've already wasted too much time on this and it's just not worth it. Just one example of one of his "facts" though - because it annoyed me so much and he mentioned it twice during the half of the book I read: "People spend about 90% of their time thinking about others" and "we spend about 90% of our time thinking about other people". Really? There is no reference to where this ridiculous claim comes from (I, like many not terribly "social" people, probably spend less than 10 or 15% of my time thinking about other people - this review notwithstanding - meaning there would have to be a whole lot thinking about other way over 90%of the time. Highly unlikely. I suspect instead he's a victim of of the very same unclear thinking he's writing about.Exasperated.

Better Thinking from Sharp Writing
Exemplarily written, each of the 99 topics are described with great clarity and concision in 2½ pages. Rolf Dobelli’s explanation and ‘cure’ of these biases is based on the recent findings of evolutionary and social psychology research, and provide fascinating and useful insights into matters such as Decision Fatigue, Association Bias and Motivation Crowding - to name just three. All are presented in a highly practical format. It’s little wonder that this book has become a best seller, and it’s a pity that other writers of this genre (or their editors) don’t change their often clunky and waffling style and adopt Dobelli’s refreshing, direct approach. The book is worth every penny. (07/15)

Whats your bias?
Very interesting book about cognitive biases. Unlike a lot of other books in this area Rolf dobelli keeps it short and sweet which each chapter and doesn’t ramble! I can definitely identify with quite a lot of the biases

A series of short essays rather than a book
This was reasonable interesting but did have several obvious points that didn't need explaining. The book was also very disjointed and is more a collection of short essays on various cognitive errors. I would still recommend this for this interested in psychology though.

Highly recommended
I received this book as a gift at a training course several years ago, and I have recently ordered it as a gift for my friends. I myself read it within 2 days - the book is very easy to read and provides with plenty life examples that give you a different perspective on many issues. It definitely changed the way I am approaching problems and dealing with life's little challenges.
