It has many options for constant colors or changing colors and a few great sounds (with volume adjustments!). We used it for our newborn. It was a priceless treasure on the nights she was inconsolable- it often took her attention so we could take a little break from the hours of rocking/walking. Once she was a little older (6 months?) and sleeping better, it was just too bright to be a night light or a calming light.The shortest time on the timer is 1 hour- that seemed way too long for us.Still it was a lifesaver and though we don't use it now, I imagine in another year, a little girl will really enjoy the lights on her ceiling again.

As soon as I saw something like this I knew I had to get it for my room, and I'm not disappointed in the slightest! I was surprised it even came with it's own speaker I could play music from (which I still have to try out, though I mainly just got it for the light). Also note that it comes with a USB plug, but no wall adapter. (Which wasn't a problem for me since I have so many of them) So you could just plug this in your PC and have it on your desk too which I think is nice. So far I definitely recommend it!

Price point got me to buy this after I saw my massage therapist using it. It does a variety of colors, flashing mode (which I hate), and a color shifting mode. The remote works if you can get a good line of sight. It has precanned sounds like water, birds etc. I general don't use them as in the are on 10 seconds or so in length and then loop. They don't loop seamlessly so it's annoying. Like other reviews I will say it's brighter than I would like and wish it had a dimmer. Still for a cheap wave light it's OK. Gave one as a gift. Last thing is periodically I have to unplug the USB power from the base and plug it back in because it won't turn on.

I just received this today and I love it. Give the water colors I was hoping for. I hope it last. Just note it comes with a usb plug in not a outlet plug so you need a separate plug. Thankfully I had one.

I really like this product, it's sturdy. their light settings are pretty. some brighter than others. the sounds associated with it are really very nice. I have a big room though and the machine I had before was not much bigger and it covered more ceiling and wall. this does more of a small section. will definitely cover a small room. not so much a big master bedroom. it still is very nice and it was shipped fast so overall I am very happy with it. i plan on using it in a themed beach party at my home this summer.

This product is a piece of crap. Bought it in September it quit working like a month and a week later. And now I'm being told that I can't get a refund or replacement item because this was only guaranteed for return for only a month. It would be nice to know up front of the return policy and I never heard of anything that I have bought an in a store that it was only guaranteed for a month this is a lot of bull crap and I will never ever buy anything from this manufacturer again. And I will be bringing this review to social media so everybody knows that they do not back their product

I bought two of the projectors for my daughters' rooms, using them as night lights. I bought an extra one for my friend's daughter as a gift. We love we can change the colors depending on their moods for the evening. Lights projected on walls really imitate ocean waves! I have two mermaid fans and this hit the spot!! Timers are available. Easy to install and user friendly. My five year old knows how to use the remote. I turn the sound off for quiet time. Sounds are peaceful but we prefer no sound prior to bedtime.
