For someone who lives and works in a rain forest, this works. PURE waterproof material does not breath. Breathable "waterproof " material does not keep me dry. I wear a pair of shorts under this with my tall muck boots and I stay dry and sweat free. Brilliant. But calling it a rain "kilt" is... misleading. It is a skirt, a long rain skirt. But it works. For those that want to save money, it is very easy to copy.
