We have a small opening to our blind corner cabinet, so we took a chance. So glad we did because it really made the cabinet useful. With these types of shelves, it’s a compromise of function vs. space. You will lose storage space but gain so much flexibility. I’m 6’6” so this helps me a lot. For us, we were willing to forgo some space for more function.

Installation was unreasonably hard due to the minuscule print on the directions until we found the manufacturers install video for this exact item on Vimeo. You’ll have to search for it there using the number 238951023 because of the ban on posting actual links in reviews. The trick for us was a certain screw that had to be matched to the letter of the model you buy.The shelves are very sturdy but tug a little as you pull them around and out, not super smooth hardware. Altogether though a big rescue for a cabinet that was useless without it and we are pleased we got it.

I literally never used my "hidden" lower shelves for 20+ years. Buying this item for the quite narrow doorway I had recaptured the cabinet and helped save the expense of having to do a full kitchen cabinet installation. I installed it easily (although it is heavy/well made) and use it daily. A lifesaver for older cabinets.
