Power and finesse what a winning combination!

I had this album on 8 track back in the day and been searching around for this for years and even couldn't find digital downloads. And the CD showed up!

My husband told me to order this. He has been listening to it a lot and really enjoys it. Was happy to find it on Amazon.

Top-notch power prog trio that plays pretty much all their catchiest tunes here. The production is clear and the playing is excellent.Bruford is gone at this point but Bozzio is an absolute monster behind the kit so his loss is not felt at all. Jobson adds a bit of extra keys to compensate for Holdsworth's absence on "Time to Kill". Wetton is a great vocalist/bassist and Jobson is easily one of the best rock keyboardists I've ever heard.Progressive rock can be hard to digest/enjoy often times but this live album is enjoyable from start to finish.

It is a good record, but if you have listened to the full concert record, you will miss all the tracks that don't fit here.

I was lucky enough to see this line up of U.K. two months after the release of this album. Everyone is in top form. I was disappointed that I had missed seeing Bill in the band, until Terry started playing. The price of the CD is actually more than I payed for the concert, but well worth the money. And this is one of the rare cases that I would recommend buying the last album first, (Night After Night), and working your way back. (Only three albums in their catalog)

This CD was ordered along with two others, all three shipped together in a single barely padded envelope. Two of the three jewel cases were damaged during shipping.

An amazing power trio that would be better without vocals. Couple of good jams/improvs. Not as heavy as early 70's king crimson, but the musicianship is there.
