A captivating read
I could not put down this book. It brought back vivid memories of an unforgettable theatre performance of the Aeschylus' Oresteia which I watched as an impressionable teenager on a school trip to Berlin in 1980.This book manages to engage the reader in an ancient tale while keeping fairly close to the original story but not without missing the feminist angle.I look forward to reading more of your books in this series.

Amazing
I have recently found a love for reading about Greek Mythologies. This book didn’t not disappoint. I loved this retelling of a known story. I am looking forward to reading the other stories in the Grecian women series.

fantastic retelling
Brilliant retelling of a well known story. The author captured the determination of Clytemnestra throughout the book. I have read many books in Greek Mythology and this is by far one of my favourites. Gripping the reader and evoking sympathy towards the characters.

Ancient Greek history brought to life
As a subject taught in school, this was guaranteed to set me dozing during lesson, but Hannah Lynn brought the characters to life with a modern day vibrancy that kept me turning pages as fast as I could. Loved it.

5 stars for the story/writing, 1 star for the copy I received
The story is gripping and I’m thoroughly enjoying it… however there is something about the copy, the quality of the paper and cover that doesn’t seem like a genuine copy … and now I have reached page 164 and discovered it jumps straight to page 169… I am even more convinced that it is some sort of pirate copy … not happy about it.

Absolutely Outstanding
As a Head of Classics I always read new releases so I can (or sometimes can't) recommend them to my students. This book did not disappoint! What an amazing tale, steeped in myth and so compelling. Hannah Lynn brings her characters to life, I genuinely devoured this book. The 'House of Pelops' is complex and confusing but the author guides the reader through, putting the stories in the mouths of her characters and, in so doing, making the tales easier to digest. The character of Clytemnestra is dealt with sympathetically and we feel her pain as the story unfolds. Agamemnon is painted as the cruel and vain king he was and Orestes' pain breaks your heart. I loved this book so much that I immediately sent an email to all the parents of my students recommending them buy it and read it over summer. I will also be keeping a copy in my 'reading bookcase' in my classroom. Amazing work - please keep writing these stories Hannah!
