I love this helmet
This is probably my 5th road helmet I've owned. My last two have been Specialized brand. I needed a helmet to match my racing kit, and knew that Team Ineos were using Kask for a number of years. I saw that the color I wanted was on sale, so I jumped on it. Normally paying $250-$300 for a helmet, I purchased this at more that 60% off.First off, the fit. It just hugs your head and the padding is very nice. No need for additional layers underneath for comfort or sweat absorption. The two places I'm picky about are were the front touches my forhead and how the back fits my skull. I am very picky on that fit, so never usually buy online (because I need to try it on first before I buy.) I rolled the dice and was relieved how good a fit it was.Fortunately, I haven't had to crash test this yet but have worn the helmet on 2,3,4 & 5 hour rides without any concerns. Would highly recommend this helmet even at full price.

Well fitting, light weight
Black matt size small for head circumference 53.5 cm, fits extremely well, does not slide and the occipital stabilizer molds well to the head and is well above the neck. Well ventilated and light weight, very comfortable on the head. On paper meets strict safety standards, have not crashed it yet. The downside is the chin strap and especially the buckle. The synthetic leather chin strap is difficult to adjust, is asymmetric because the buckle sits on one side, and it is very difficult to unbuckle even after several uses.

AWESOME - I'll never buy another GIRO
I'm an avid biker and wear a helmet. I've owned a Giro for years, even replaced the padding at one point. I bought a new Giro last year but it came with a clear plastic lining. The kind of plastic that tomatoes come in lined the entire interior. The pads were attached to it. Funny how NONE of the photos of any helmet ever show the interior - you know the part that actually touches your head.I had the Giro for so many years I didn't know what else to get.I bought this KASK and its awesome. It's more compact and has a better strap - wide synthetic leather, compared to the nylon strap of the Giro. The Giro's buckle is on the chin, the KASK puts it up by the cheekbone - way more comfortable design. It's a fabulous helmet made in Italy and I'll definitely be buying another.

Saved my life, I'm sure!
Love the quality & fit, feel & weight of my helmet ( I've owned Kask bike helmets before), I rode 1/2 way across the USA with this helmet & got home & it still looked like new, then I crashed & my head bounced like a basketball on the cement sidewalk & my head was absolutely fine & unharmed !! I will ALWAYS BUY KASK BIKE HELMETS!! I ordered an identical new one the day after my crash! Am a KASK fan for life!!

Wonder why this particular one is cheaper than the rest???
Check out this model of Kask helmet and you'll notice this particular color - Atlantic Blue - is far less expensive than the other colors. Why? Perhaps it's because the color you see in the picture is NOT what the one you get looks like. The picture is a really beautiful deep blue - the actual helmet is far more grey - more like blue putty. Not even close to the picture. Not. Even. Close. But, so what. It's still one great helmet. Comfortable, clean, and oooooh so airy. Wear this with a good sweat cap underneath and the Florida sun is no match.

Great helmet
I’ve been wearing it for a few weeks. Seems to fit better than the helmets I used to wear. The chin strap and buckle are easy to adjust, so no strap flapping around. Will buy additional color in a few moths.

Too short for my oval head
I ordered this helmet in size Large, to fit up to 62 cm circumference (my head measures 61.5 cm). The helmet was very round, and would not even fit onto my oval shaped head.

This helmet was delivered to me on August 3rd. Only 2 weeks and the helmet pads are falling apart.
I dismissed one other reviewer that said he had this same problem. I should have listened. Maybe other riders don't sweat so they don't need to rinse/remove/wash the helmet pads. I've been just rinsing the sweat out of the pads until today. Today I tired to carefully remove the pads from the velcro thinking I would wash them with soap. Even though I was careful, most of the backing came apart from the rest of the pad. I have a Giro helmet with a manufacturer's date of August 2015. YUP it's 6 years old. The pads are in perfect shape. And I have worn and washed that helmet hundreds of times and I certainly removed the pads whenever they needed a better wash. So why did I give the Kask 3 stars and not 1 star? Other than the pads, the Kask helmet does seem to be well made and designed. BUT now I need a solution. Seriously. What do I do with this helmet now. Buying a new pad from Kask doesn't make any sense.
