I bought this November 2022. I installed it in Dec 2022. It rained for the next 3 weeks. By week 4 the lights no longer work. I'd say place it under an awning away from rain and you'll have more longevity to enjoy the light.

I had a little problem with the switch but I fixed them to burn steady and they last all night on the days charge I’m pleased with them

I bought these to put around my chicken pen. It's a 200 Sq ft area. We live out in the country so woods surround us. These keep the predators from trying to get in!

First I must say I was expecting these lights to be larger than they actually are. When the box from Amazon arrived, I thought it was kid of small for 2 flood lights. When I opened the box, and saw the box inside, I definitely thought Amazon messed up the order, and only sent one light; the box was small. Upon opening the inner box, much to my surprise, there were actually 2 lights inside.Installation was very easy. Even though the instructions said to allow them to charge several hours before use, I was anxious to see them in action, so I turned them on right away, and waited for night fall. I must say I was somewhat disappointed in the brightness, I expected a bit brighter light. I have a backyard that is about 30x40 Ft, and wanted a light that would illuminate most of it. This light was OK for about half of that space. But remember, that was with the battery charged straight from the box. The next night, after being charged all of the next day, the lights were a bit brighter, and I am mostly satisfied with their brightness now. I have some 1500 lumen solar lights from Westinghouse that are brighter, but they aren't flood lights. Used in conjunction with this flood light, they all do a good job in lighting up my entire back yard. I will also say the "dim" mode is pretty much useless. The light emitted in the dim mode really isn't sufficient for anything, other than decorative purposes (e.g. just having a dim light lit up so they are noticeable).The only improvement I would make to these lights is a longer on time when motion is detected. I think they stay on for 20 seconds, which to me is a bit short.

-40 winter and still going strong. we will see next year? but this is a good product for the price. I just wish they were just a bit brighter. but you get what you paid for.not only the cold but the rain as well, which surprised me. just position them where they will charge and I hope they will have a long life.

Light was working fine, not quite as bright as I'd have liked. Different settings also cause it to get even more dim. Regardless, both lights were serving their purpose. 2 months after purchase one of the lights quit after we got some rain and some of the rain apparently got inside the light. I checked to see if I could exchange, but the return window closed after 30 days. Sucks on my part that I didn't check the return window during purchase.After return window closed, the second light quit working. It rained and water got inside and hadn't worked since. Was a little disappointed I couldn't exchange it for another. I'm just out of a light unless I wanna buy another. Lasted 2 whole months lol.

I’ve only had these up a few weeks. They were easy to install and are bright and seem to charge fine even on a somewhat overcast day. The motion detector is just the right amount of sensitive. That said, they have different settings, one just comes on at night and stays on, one is on dimly and then brightens when there is motion, and the other is off until there is motion. You choose your settings with the button on the back. I have set these things to the ‘motion only’ setting over and over. Then the next night, I go out, and they are back in the ‘on all night’ setting. Where I put these two, I guess that is fine, it’s not shining in any windows of the house or anything, but it’s still annoying because it’s not what I want. And because of that, I won’t be buying them for other parts of my property where I absolutely do not want lights on all night, only when there is motion. So. These wind up functioning more as just night time lights, not motion lights. I’ve given up switching them back to the right setting all the time. Nice lights, but don’t function as intended.And NO there is no motion where they are, no random tree branch or leaf blowing around setting it off, nothing, it faces a wide open area. They aren’t on for any kind of motion, just switched back to the wrong setting all by themselves.

They work great in every aspect other then it keeps switching off the setting I put it on. The brightness is great, the motion detection is great, the three settings it has are great for different options. I really like and only want the setting that they fully turn off until it detects motion then they turn on the brightest setting then turn back off after no motion. When I put it in that setting it last about two nights then auto switches to the setting that they stay on all night at a very dim brightness. That’s not what I want these used for. It makes them almost useless for the purpose I wanted them for. Not happy with them only because of that reason.
