The media could not be loaded. If you’re looking for a sirah book that is easy to read, this is the book!!!!! I’ve tried reading many different books before and I couldn’t keep up after a few pages, but this book I read cover to cover!!! The maps and family trees make it sooo easy to follow along in the story and keep track of all the names! And the glossary has a brief description of every name mentioned in the book which is sooo handy when you forget who is who and need a quick refresher! What I loved most about this book are the commentaries in each section. After the author explains the story, there are little brown boxes that have commentaries answering certain questions about the text. I found that the commentaries were reading my mind because I’d have a question as I’m reading and the commentary answers it. The commentary section also answers common questions/criticisms that people have of Islam which I found very useful. Like for example it addresses questions about polygamy, the caravan raids, Aisha’s (ra) age etc. It’s very insightful.As a medical student myself I really appreciate the layout of this book because this is how I study, with lots of diagrams and visuals. I don’t remember how I stumbled upon this book but I’m sure glad I did!!!!

This book is so well written and engaging, I can't put it down. This is my first time learning about the Sirah. I ordered this book because the reviews said it was easy to read and digest. Subhanallah. It's truly a delight to read and I recommend this to anyone seeking to learn more about the life of the prophet pbuh.

I own Ar Raheeq al Makhtoom, Noble Life of the Prophet by Dr. Ali as Sallabi, and Martin Lings seerah and if I could imagine a book that could perfectly explain the seerah and do so in an intelligible, illustrative, and unique way, this would have to be that book. This is college textbook quality authoring, editing, and publishing without the college textbook price. It is so well written and with very cogent logic as well as historical references you can confidently cite in your next dialogue. Most importantly, he's a fair author; meaning he tells it like it is and will include the opinions of the majority and minority of scholars simply to present the facts as they are.The price made me wonder if it would be worth it - Yes! A hundred times - YES. The author even incorporated mnemonics, diagrams, charts, and world maps to help you remember dates, lineages, and locations for crying out loud!When the author writes that this book was his 13 year project, you get that sense the very moment you hold the book. The book is a solid thick quality paperback with a stylish matte rubber finish. A binding that is actually a proper book binding and not the flimsy cheap glue we're all used to. It's in full color with detailed appendices, a glossary, and margin notes citing from Hamza Yusuf, Karen Armstrong, Reza Aslan, Tariq Ramadan, and even his own opinions.I own a vast library of Islamic literature from Al Ghazali and Ibn Kathir to Imam Bukhari and Dr. Ali as Sallabi to Ahmed Deedat and Ibn Qayyim Al Jawziyyah, so trust me when I tell you, you need this book. It is going to set a new standard, so be ahead of the curve and invest in your knowledge.

This book is so refreshing to read. It presents an abundance of information in a easily digestible way. I Iike the way it is organized so the reader can easily track the timeline and important events. The charts & pictures really add to readers' understanding. It makes the Seerah less overwhelming to learn and makes me appreciate Prophet Muhammad SAW that much more. I'm really impressed.

I have consumed more than two dozen books covering the life of the Prophet Muhammad over the last 4 years in search of a deeper understanding of the history of Islam at its birth. Although each book I have read provides new insights and a deeper perspective on the life of one of the most amazing human beings to ever live, none had such immense detail that is laid out in an easy to digest format.This is, by far, one of the best options for any reader in the English language, particularly if you have already read at least one other biography of the Prophet Muhammad.
