This chair literally hurts
While looking for a new office chair because of my wife's new permanent WFH status, we initially wanted a Hermon Miller model because of their reputation. A friend had splurged and been satisfied with the results. We weren't quite ready to spend that much though. At the onset of the pandemic, we went to Office Depot and found a nice chair that held up over the last year, so we wanted to go back to get a 2nd. Unfortunately, Office Depot wasn't stocking that chair any longer. So I got on Amazon looking for an unheralded gem of a chair, like I do with so many other products I need. We came across this one and thought the reviews were promising. You're never going to be assured a guarantee when it comes to any product, so we were willing to take a chance. Bought it, got it in 2 days per the Prime promise.Put it together 2 days later, and it was fine. It was for my wife, so she used it more than I did. Early on, we saw that the seat was really shallow for a "Large" sized chair. That's concerning because one of the main problems of an office chair is the seat not extending to the back of your knee. Your legs and hips end up dong the work to support your lower body if your knees rest lower than your hips, and this chair's seat was shallow enough to cause that problem. Both of us are 6ft tall exactly, and it's a good 6 inches short of being sufficient in the seat for either one of us.The lumbar support seemed very good at first. You pretty much have no choice but to sit up straight because of the seat's protruding lumbar portion. That's a huge plus for me. I tend to slump, so I appreciate a chair that makes me sit upright. It usually saves me some back pain later. This was the most extreme lumbar support I had ever had in a chair, so I thought it'd be fine.About 2 weeks in, my wife starts complaining about her leg hurting. She's got a pinched nerve on her right side, but it's only irritated in certain situations. She said she was now having some pain in her groin in addition to the previous leg pain. She hadn't had a problem with the previously mentioned chair from Office Depot, but it was starting to flare up in the Komene. Another week goes by, and she's using analgesic and pressure leg sleeves to try and numb/treat the pain. She switches back to the old chair for one day and doesn't have the problem. It's the chair. So we switch chairs assuming it's just because of her pinched nerve. 8 hours over 2 days was all it took to end up with severe pain in my lats, hips, and even my groin. I was so sore from just those 2 days. But that was all I needed to see: it was definitely the chair.I'm sure part of it is the fact that our legs are too long for this chair's shallow seat. We've had similar chairs before, and they caused us discomfort over a long period of time. But this chair was a new level of painful. It was like being in a torture chamber every time we sat down to do work. I don't know exactly what the problem is, but I couldn't recommend this chair to anybody. We were fortunate enough to return it just before the return window closed. Having paid $300 for something that is trying it's best to harm you is a worst-case scenario. I can't speak for anybody else's experience, but this chair was not good.

Lived up to expectations. Good customer support
I bought this chair to replace a Steelcase Leap chair that I had been using for 13+ years. I have to admit I was a little wary of the purchase, knowing that Iʻd be downgrading from what might be considered a high-end chair to something more in the budget-chair range. But I ordered it anyway given that my old chair had a busted gas cylinder and I had no suitable replacement. When it arrived, I was excited. My body was killing me and I spent the last pandemic year cramped up in a bad position. Unfortunately, the chair arrived with a broken headrest. Everything else arrived fine and the installation was easy.I immediately emailed the manufacturer and got a quick response; they immediately said that theyʻd send me a replacement. It arrived in 2 weeks. I was very happy at their response time and was pleased that they corrected the problem with no problems whatsoever.Overall the chair DOES feel cheaper than my old Steelcase. It feels a third of the weight, and the movement and materials donʻt feel at the same level of quality. BUT that being said, this is about a fifth of the price of most of those high-end chairs. I feel this chair is very comfortable and Iʻm happy with it at this price range. Will it last 13 years like my last chair? Unlikely. But lasts 2 - 3 years I can afford to get another one.

I really wanted to like this chair
Got the chair and assembly was easy. While putting it together, I started to get a bad feeling about the arms and the mounting of the chair back to the frame. Once built, on first test my fears were justified. The chair back and its mounting to the frame isn't rigid enough and the slightest repositioning of myself on the chair causes the chair arms to rise and fall as the chair back flexes. Not good for keeping your hands on a keyboard of mouse so I asked my wife if she would like to try it as she sits more like a 'normal' person and doesn't move around in a chair very much. She sat in it and immediately noticed the lack of lumbar support so we ordered a Lumbar Support cushion (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0839BG29X/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). We also ordered a cushion for her neck (https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B077Q382WD/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1) for the space under the headrest as she is a big smaller and the headrest was just too high to be useful but the space between it and the chair was too much.In the end, we spent nearly 50 bucks on cushions and support for a chair that is already 300 dollars. We've spent money and two months of trying to make this chair work and now the it's getting donated. It's just not useful for me at 6' 210 lbs and not comfortable for my wife at 5'3" 130 lbs.
