I have made a few candles before receiving this set but always used utensils I already had laying around and old jars to set the candles in.This bundle is made for the beginner as it comes with every elements you could possibly need to get started making candles. The process is a bit lengthy but it is fun and very rewarding.If you are looking into getting into this hobby or perhaps you want to do it as an activity with your partner or kids, this is an excellent set for it. you get the wax, wicks, jug and mixing spoon as well as decorated tins and clear instructions.The only 2 things not included (but not essential) are dyes and scents, however, adding these 2 things to your wax make the process a bit more difficult as you have to account for those extra elements in your mixture (you have to ensure the candle sets so adding more makes it a bit more complex).So don't be put off because you don't have scents and dyes. They're readily available for fairly affordable prices. If you've never made candles before, I'd recommend buying this kit, making a candle and if you enjoy it and want to make more, then buy some dyes and scents to go along with this kit. If you do this, ensure you find a recipe online that includes those 2 extra elements so the candle can set.Overall, this is an excellent bundle. It comes packaged very nicely and could be given as a gift and it has all the essential elements for candle making. 100% recommended!!!
