Easy-peezy way to get gas into my boat with no spill! I can’t believe I went this long in life without this little hose! I got a new boat and the fill cap was in an awkward spot to fill. Holding numerous 5 gallon cans at angle without spill or inserted wrong to get air pocket blowback was a constant problem. With this syphon I just set the can on the swim platform and slide the hose as far down the boat tank as I can, while keeping enough out to reach the bottom of my gas can. After a few seconds of up and down “jiggling” gas is flowing! I tilt my cans to one corner when close to empty to drain almost every last drop.Anyone who says it takes more than 10 seconds to get the syphon to work is not doing it right. You need to get gas flow without air to below the syphon point. If you stop to short the syphon will not take effect. Also. Watch your gas gauge on your filling tank. There is no auto stop with gravity.

Loved the way it works for refilling vehicles and generators using an old fuel tank that had a cracked nozzle.I purchased several of these for viscous fluids and the ones with a 3/4 hose worked better for that, but didn't fit in the neck of the bottles I was using. It had a hard time getting started/primed with this type of liquid.Understandably, they come rolled up and must be straightened out in a warm spot or the sun. The tubing is a little stiff even after a few weeks of being straight so it makes it a little unwieldy to use sometimes.

Definitely better than doing it the old fashioned way. follow instructions to continually pump hose up and down to create siphon. My first use it lose suction after a minute. Just pump it and it will start back up. Used for diesel to transfer from tractors tanker to fuel can. Just watch that you don't siphon from bottom of tank, lots of trash.

Use them to transfer gas from 5 gallon can to my tractors. Allows me to be checking oil level and other things while tank is being filled. Saves holding the can while trying to balance on step of tractor until can empties. Would highly recommend.

Literally one of the best things I have bought on Amazon. Not only did I get them for myself but I have purchased them for several others. If you have a boat, motorcycle, utv or lawnmower, this is a must have.
