The product is Stainless although it is only 304 not 316 so it will stain/rush in marine conditions. but the real issue is the very poor manufacturing finish. It has razor sharp edges all around the hasp and attachment plate where it has been punched or cropped out of the original SS sheet material and no attempt has been made to Linish/deburr or polish the edges to make them safe to handle. The product by its very nature will be handled all the time and hence risk bad lacerations on hands or fingers.

No screws in pack.Amazing make it near impossible to contact the seller, all I wanted was regards screws.But they wanted me to return the whole item. I needed this item.What a waste. I would contact seller before buying as I'm not even sure they come with screws.Buy cheap pay twice.

Sturdy and substantial. I have put it indoors, on a utility cupboard door so can't vouch for the stainless steel outdoors. It's a matt finish and serviceable for places you don't need to look pretty as such.

Surprised by the quality of finish. Bought this for a garden gate and seems out of plate compared to the other hardware. Can’t comment on the screws as I always use my own. Well constructed, sturdy and very high polish/finish

So fitted this last night to my Keter Shed. The Hasp is a nice thickness which is what i wanted and thicker than what i bought in the past from B&Q. Easy to fit but as you have no instruction/template make sure its right before putting in those screws. Good value for money.

Bought this to put a lock on a toilet cubicle and it works out great. The door wasn't flush with the wall but the hasp allowed for the gap adjustment. Exactly what I needed.

Item came well packaged and fast. The only small niggle is the screws were small . So we just replaced them with bigger ones.Easy to unstable.
