Expensive for a piece of plastic that last a year but it is what it is.

Perfect replacement but if given the choice I would never purchase this specific model spicket or any that resemble it with this type breaker system. In time, weather and sun will turn these plastic parts brittle. Thank God I was inside at home, not away or out of town when it blew! What a mess!!! Great engineering genious!!! With spicket still off this blew full water pressure at my eaves, windows, sliding and soaked the crap out of everything like a pressure washer until I shut the water main down in the basement! Please understand that I'm not faulting the seller of this replacement product. Only the 2 or 3 manufactures who make these with no conciderations. Maybe they should have made the top part and cap brass? Then sell the crappy plastic valve that can leak eventually still. At least it would only leak a little. Not blow full water pressure like a pop off valve!!! Wonder what insurance companies think of this great engineering.

First time I'd made a repair like this. Removing the old, busted breaker was harder than putting in the replacement. Installation took less than five minutes. Do be mindful to hold the small piece in place as you remove the two-piece assembly from the packaging. You'll want to hold those two pieces together as you place them into the top of the faucet. That small piece will separate and fall away otherwise, and I recall that it does need to be correctly oriented.Other than that simple precaution, the new breaker drops into place, seats gently, ready for you to screw on the cap. No special tools needed, really, though I used a small set of channel locks to remove the old breaker.

This was exactly what I needed to fix my outdoor faucet (that had "ABP" stamped on the side).

Easy to install

After searching high and low for this part, which fits an ABP spigot, I ordered these but was disappointed in a long estimated delivery time. To my delight, they showed up about three days later. To my dismay, I have ordered a spare because I have two faucets, then found one missing at a rental property that took the exact same part. So my spare is gone, but I'll be ordering more. Replacement took less than 5 minutes

Easy to install

Took a huge chance on this because of the ridiculously poor image of the item. The line drawing barely represents what this thing is. But after cross-referencing and looking around, I was hoping it was the anti siphon vent that starts to leak on all of my faucets. Ordered 3 and sure enough, they were exactly what I needed. Super easy fix. Took more time to find it than actually installing it. -1 star for bad product image.
