Extraordinary
As a collector and a tarot reader I own countless, very different kinds of decks. I have had several favourites so far, since I never found “the best” deck. From here on, however, I have only one favourite: this Runic Tarot. The physical appearance, as far as the cards go; is the best combination I could think of. The weight of the cards is not too heavy/thick, but not too light/flimsy either. It is just right. The cards are strong, hold up well, but shuffling is easy. The artwork of Jack Sephiroth (and I should have started with that), is absolutely stunning. I don’t know if the medium is drawing, photo or painting (apologies) but it captures the atmosphere of Norse mythology and the mystical nature of Tarot very well. The unusual mix of the Runes, and Norse mythology creates additional layers of meaning on top of what we know from the classic Tarot. The pictures lend an distinctive aura to the already impressive complexity of symbolism, art, mythology, and the end product is gold mine to the tarot reader. I am astonished and very pleased to get such a high quality deck for a price that obviously, is a lower end price among tarot decks. The book is useful, interesting, and to the point. I couldn’t be more pleased to be able to own this deck, which I’m sure will teach me and others a lot of new things. If you are considering to buy it, do not waste more time, just get it. It’s a gem and a special one at that.

Good for Politics
This is an outstanding deck. It is dark but some subjects warrant a dark approach. Artwork is magnificient.

Another masterpiece from Lo Scarabeo
Runic Tarot is a gorgeous deck! I already have and love several decks from Lo Scarabeo. This one compares closely to the Heaven And Earth Tarot as the boxes, cards, book, and ink quality are all the same. The box has a magnetic closure and ribbon pull. The Major Arcana get a full color image page in the book. The Minor Arcana has no pictures. The explanations are excellent. They do not have reversal meanings. There is a chart of the runes inside the box, in the book it shows you how to pronounce each. The imagery is incredible. It follows along with the RWS structure pretty closely. The horses, all the animals in this deck are so well done. It has horns as cups, shields as pentacles, wands, & swords are left as is. Most pleased with and highly recommend this and any deck from Lo Scarabeo.

The artwork is stunning and the interpretations are spot on and easy to work with and connect to.
This is one of the most beautiful tarot decks I've had the pleasure of seeing and buying. The artwork is elaborate and takes up the entirety of the cards - no borders! Each card has so many details to aid in interpretation, and the addition of the runes and bindrune sigils are also incredibly useful. I read many of the reviews after I bought this deck, and while some people found a few of the unusual choices to be difficult, Ullr as the Hanged Man instead of Odin, Odin as Death instead of Hel, for example, I find that the interpretation of them in those cards work extremely well. I fully expected Loki to be labeled the Devil, as he is in many decks, but this deck transcends all of the others that choose to portray Loki/The Devil in such a negative and evil light. This deck interprets the Devil as knowing and giving into your desires and needs but to be careful how much or how often, and always realize that whatever you do, you'll face the consequences of your actions. It's a stunning card! All of the cards are just breathtaking. I have a feeling that this deck will become my go-to Tarot deck in the future!

I absolutely love this deck.
I bought this deck a few month ago. And since it arrived I just was noodling around with it. The imagery of the cards, the card stock, the book, the box it came in, everything is top notch.I'm very interested in Norse Mythology. So, I thought, a fusion of Norse Mythology and Tarot, that will be interesting. I am not disappointed so far. Here are a few personal impressions. Good and a couple bad ones. First the good ones.Tarot (Tarocchi) originated as an Italian game in the15th century, and in the late 18th century as a form of cartomancy and divination tool used by French occultists, has its roots in the Latin languages. You see that with the moon and sun card. Moon in Tarot is traditionally associated with female attributes (la luna = female) and the sun card with male attributes (il sole = male). This deck has a little twist here, and I'm very happy Jack Sephiroth payed attention to details. In this deck, the moon card has a male energy. As a native German speaker, Germanic languages (German: der Mond = male) and the sun is a female Goddess Sunna (German: die Sonne = female). This is a fine detail, and I really love the attention to details in this deck.Another detail I love about these cards, the Runes associated with certain cards are really carefully chosen.A few little disputes I have with this deck, but certainly not worth to remove a star. Certain gods/goddesses I wouldn't have associated with the card they are associated with. As example: the death card, I would have chosen the Goddess Hel but in the deck it's Odin. Reading the book, it makes sence. The more I work with the deck, the more comfortable I am with it. At least, Hel made it in the deck, I would be disappointed if Hel wouldn't be in the deck. The next card I thought is odd, is the hanged man. In this deck it's Uller. My personal choice for the hanged man would be Odin. But like I said, the more I work with this deck, the more I get it.Another thing what could be seen as annoying is the non-binary descriptions. Instead of using he/she, in the description is used they/them. Not that it bothers me, it's just weird to read. Also, I read a review, where someone stated, that he/she was disappointed that this deck used runes misused by the nazis. Please keep in mind. If it is the elder futhark, the younger futhark or the Anglo-Saxon futhorc. The Runes have nothing to do with nazism. The nazis misused certain runes and also sigil and symbols from other cultural and religous systems. The rune itself does not have the meaning used by the Nazis. Now, what blew my mind with this deck. For month and month I was just playing around with these cards. Pick a card, writing in my journal, meditating over meanings. Go a day or two with a card and see how the meaning corresponds in my life, etc. Last weekend, I stepped out of my comfort zone and gave my friend and then my wife a Samhain reading. It was spot on. 👌 And the theme of Norse Mythology is so cool. I love to tell the stories about these Gods and Goddesses. I love to talk about the runes. And I witnessed how accurate and meaningful these cards unfolded a story for my friend and my wife with a very deep insight for them. It was mind-blowing. I definitively keep that deck and some dragon's blood incense with me at all the times.I love this deck. One of the best buys I have ever made. 😉

Beautiful Deck
I really love the attention to detail on this deck. It's imagery truly resonates with me. The quality is amazing and the packaging is superb. The cards a thick, which can give a little difficultly in shuffling at first, but the more you use them the easier it will be. Thanks :)

Beautiful Artwork
It's a must have for anyone, even if you have only a passing interest in Tarot, but are a serious student of Norse mythology. Or likewise to someone who has a passing interest in Norse mythology, who has a serious interest in Tarot. The artwork is captivating, and the deck is really well done! Enjoy!
