This was a great decal. You DO NOT have to put it on one letter at a time as I saw in another review. You put the whole decal up with the backing, letters, and cover paper. Get it where you want it. Use a level making sure to use the bottoms of the letters. Pull the right side of the decal away from the wall but make sure the left side stays put. Peel off the back layer from about 1/4 to 1/3 of the decal. Cut the backing paper off from the decal (do not cut the decal, only the backing paper.) Then stick the 1/4 to 1/3 of the decal with front paper to the wall. This side should be firmly on the wall. Then pull off the rest of the backing paper from the left side. Do it carefully so the right side doesn’t come away from the wall: Carefully stick the rest of the decal with front paper to the wall. Smooth it over and over with a tongue depressor stick or credit card. Then start at one corner and peel the front back at a sharp angle very slowly so that only the decals stick to the wall. If the letter starts to stay on the paper, put that part back on the wall and rub it a few times. You have to pull basically folding the paper back towards itself so you aren’t pulling the decal away from the wall. I am including a picture, but I cut off the Arnold part. I only wanted the quote. Great decal. Nice quality. Great price.

Wasn't easy. There are plenty of YouTube videos available. Use a credit card to flatten out any air bubbles but press lightly. Follow up by using your fingers. Whichever way you pull the adhesive backing, make sure you are pressing down against the wall as you pull (more like pressing/pushing to separate) keeping your fingers as close to the crease as possible as you go (so keep readjusting your fingers to stay near the crease). Bottom line is, go slow.If you have patience and are determined, it will turn out looking great on your wall. I like the message and the look. Installation was pretty easy compared to a different one I did that needed letter by letter application. Make sure you have something like a credit card handy as well as a level. The message came in two pieces. The good part was I just had to line up the pieces with the level and then remove all the letters slowly as in the video they showed. The video is ok because application did not go that smooth. The backing material refused to let go of the letters in many instances. The credit card helps with this. If you can get a small piece of the vinyl off the backing, then you can use a credit card to hold it in place on the wall while you continue to peel.
