ALFI brand AB36TR Bathroom Trough Sink, 36", White

We installed this sink in our bathroom that was too small for a double vanity. It allows us most of the benefits of having a double vanity (such as 2 faucets) in a smaller package.The initial quality seems to be really good, and it has no issues w/ bad glazing or anything.It is thick porcelain and very heavy, and came in packed in a very large box full of sprayed foam for cushioning. - Very well packed.Please be aware that this sink is a BEAST. It is very heavy and (unless you're a big guy with a large wingspan) you will need some help moving it, particularly if it is still in the box.Here's how we installed ours during a recent bathroom remodel:We used a 48" wide vanity with a set of drawers on each end. I created a vanity top made from 2 inch thick reclaimed Douglas Fir. It is actually 2 - 12 inch board that I ripped on a table saw to get the right width and glued them together. I measured the sink cut and a hole for it in the wood, to recess it. It was a pain to get just right, because all 4 sides are angled. It took me a couple hours of fiddling (sand a little off, test fit the sink. . . sand a little off, test fit the sink. Wash, rinse, repeat) to get it recessed where I wanted it. Recessing the sink caused a bit of another issue - It interfered with the drawers. So we then cut down the top outer drawers so they would clear the sink (I had to shave about an inch off the drawer.We added 2 very modern faucets and a popup umbrella style drain.The combination between the retro style of the sink, with the reclaimed wood, white shaker vanity, and modern faucets gave it a nice industrial chic look, in my opinion at least.Summarizing all this, we are thrilled with how it turned out, and are really happy we found this sink.[Sorry for the sideways pic. We purchased a house with long countertops and single sinks. Wanting double sinks without the hassle of adding plumbing we purchased the Alfi brand trough sinks, the 36" inch for the second master and the 48" for the downstairs master. Awesome sinks with the challenge of installation with stone or marble. Stick to your guns and you can have them semi-flush mount as seen in the picture with existing cabinets and new stone. The faucets proved to be the biggest barrier - initially we bought 8 inch faucets which were too short. We ended up purchasing2 of Rozin Bathroom Single Lever Vessel Sink Faucet Rotatable Spout Countertop Mixer Tap Chrome Finish and Oil Rubbed bronze for the second sink. We LOVE how easy these are to use with 2 people getting ready for work in the morning and how easy they are to clean...not to mention how COOL they are to look at. Be prepared to lift weights...these are heavy sinks. High quality and I would recommend 100%

Doesn't fit well in granite as the porcelain does not have perfect edges. A little wobbly.

Very nice sink, I had to return it was too big,,,, good quality.

Purchased this back in August, finally was ready to install today - remodel took much longer than expected. Turns out I got a standard size farmhouse kitchen sink instead of the 36" bathroom sink. The label on the outside box has correct description but wrong item was inside.
