Aftershocks: Christians Entering a New Era of Global Crisis

Excellent book! I read it in two days. If you’re like me, you’re probably looking around at the world in its current state and thinking we’re in weird times. Crack open this book and you’ll be able to read how it all ties in to Bible prophecy. Jeff has written this book in such a way that any of us can understand easily. I highly recommend this book to Christians and non Christians alike.

I read thru a good portion of what I thought was well parented intellectually until a reference in a later chapter when the author, Jeff Kunley, referred to a televangelist who allegedly said something as an “apostate preacher.” That ended my reading the book even further as well as the author’s credibility and even the Prophesy Watchers forum where I learned about and ordered the book. I’m separating myself from those parties. It’s one thing for one Christian disagree with and take issue with another; it makes for healthy dialogue. But to summarily accuse someone who’s an accomplished worker in leading people to Jesus and building fellow Christians as an apostate is intolerable. The bulk of the book is OK but its real impact fell to nothing because of the intolerant belief of its author.

Jeff Kinley does his homework! Every one of his books that I’ve read are backed up with facts and sources. And the facts he writes are mind boggling! Brace yourself and be prayed up before you read “Aftershocks”! It has information of events that occurred throughout history, including 2020 to the present and why we’re in this state of chaos! But there’s hope when we keep the peace of God in our heart and home. His final chapters are rich with encouragement!

There are so many prophecy books that are simply fantasy, heretical and just not true. Therefore I don’t read prophecy books. This one was recommended by a friend so I read it. This book is powerful. This book is true. This book will encourage you. I absolutely love this book.

The story starts out by describing the 9.2 earthquake in Valdez, Alaska in 1964 that was the most powerful earthquake in U.S. history.On the day of the earthquake 11 aftershocks with a magnitude of 6.0 happened, along with smaller aftershocks that lasted for more than a year.This book does not give you information about aftershocks that occur after earthquakes, but it does discuss the changes that will occur because recent global events in our moral, geopolitical and economic spheres that produce aftershocks in all of our lives.Our present day is described, the COVID 19 virus, the rioting, lawlessness, lockdowns, job loss and economic breakdown is detailed, but then Biblical passages are explored that discuss disobedience to parents, lovers of self, money, ungratefulness, without self- control, haters of good, and holding to a form of godliness (2 Timothy 3:1-5,13) a description of the Last Days.As believers, Jesus has called us to "make disciples", which will alter a person's eternal destiny, we are not called to proclaim peace, reconciliation or justice.To do this, believers must ask ourselves if Jesus is in the center of my life and reigning over self?We should be sharing the Gospel with those God brings us into contact with and not shrinking back in cowardice and fear, by realizing that the gates of death and hell will not prevail against us. (Matthew 16:18)You will have to read the book for yourself to find out about "the global reset", banning nationalism and making all people "citizens of the world".

No excuse to not know the times we are living in. World changing swiftly! Will be hard!

This book seeks to put all the puzzle pieces of our day on the table in a way that we better see Christ and what purpose we have in the time we have left. Each discerning Christian should read and share this book.

If you need these last days explain to you and simple language this is the book for you. Very well documented and very simple to understand. There are so many weird sensational prophecy books out there. From blood red moons, the Lord‘s feasts and newspaper prophecy on and on but this book isn’t about that it’s just the facts and it’s informative and excellent!!!

This book would be eye opening to the many Christians who have little or no concept of the end times in which we are living. Sadly this reflects on the fact many Christians rarely read the Bible. An informative book and an awakening call to Christians not only to be ready for the rapture but urging us to warn people and to share the gospel with as many as we can before it is too late.

I generally agree with the author analysis of the current times and the future opening in front of us of global moral, economic, social and political crisis. He explains with wisdom and accuracy the possible future scenarios and he believes in the pre-trib rapture as many other evangelical teach, which I tend to lean on as well. What I didn’t like to much is the cessationist view concerning the prophetic, he states that the last revelation ended with the apostolic era, which I disagree because it’s not biblical and I find a bit odd that a seasoned teacher on the end times underestimate the prophetic revelations God is giving today to modern true prophets, although I understand the call for caution because of many others spreading emotional visions not grounded in the Bible. Overall a good book with lots of things to ponder and pray about while we are living for sure in the end times, as the author clearly explains.

I watched Jeff Kinley as a recent guest of Jan Markell. So convinced their message is for right now I had to read his book. You must as well. The time is short. Jesus will soon appear and you must be ready.

It was supposed to be a present for my sister, but after reading it, knew it would confuse her. Some good points though.
