Laptop does not detect camera (hardware issue) and the microphone is not capturing any sounds. These are issues that came with machine from factory.For the first 3 months, I used this laptop only when docked, so I had not realized the camera and mic were not working. I do blame myself for not thoroughly testing all components when I got, but you'd think the manufacturer would do that before shipping.I've reached out to Lenovo support and all they can do is have me send it in to their repair center for 3-5 weeks (forums say it actually takes 7-8 weeks). There's even a paid option to have someone come to my house to fix it but apparently this particular repair is not eligible (what if I had already paid for the warranty upgrade?).I thought I had gotten unlucky but after doing some research, apparently it's common for Lenovo laptops to come with defective hardware from the factory. I will never buy another Lenovo product again and strongly advise against any of you buying this laptop.

I bought this for my son for college. Great size and the tablet mode works well for taking notes. Lightweight so it's not too heavy in the bookbag. The tent mode works great to watch movies with in bed.

This is a horrible design. After a year of opening and closing the laptop, the hinge came apart. Trying to close it again cracked the screen. It was never dropped or mis-handled. Just opening and closing the lid broke it. It lasted a year and 2 months, just outside of the warranty.
