I received a bad batch of amplifiers and had to replace them. They were 15 pin thru hole parts. The task of removing the ICs from the board and then cleaning out the solder from the plated thru holes in preparation for the new parts was very time consuming. The worst part was adequately clearing all of the solder from the holes. I decided to try and clear the holes with a drill bit. I found #64 drill bits an this site. The Gyros Keyless Mini Adapter Chuck was perfect for this task. I was able to securely fix the drill bits in the chuck and the 1/4" Hex Shank fit perfectly in my cordless screwdriver. I am now able to replace the ICs 4 times faster.

Bought two, love them. My drill will not clamp down on very small drill bits. But using this tool I can use very small number drill bits instead of using pin vise. Arrived on time undamaged. Great price great product recommend seller

I needed something to hold a micro bit in my drill. I had been wrapping masking tape round and round the end of the bit to make it thick enough that the drill chuck would hold it in place but that little trick was short lived and only lasted 3 or 4 holes. This handy adapter worked perfect for holding those tiny, thin little bits. Only gave 4 stars because it loosens itself as it's used and the bit falls out, sometimes down in the wood. I've tightened with pliers with a little more success but it will eventually let go of the bit after drilling multiple little holes. Great tool though.

Love this little screw bit to chuck adapter. Works incredibly well. Fits perfectly, easy to use, and the teeth line up well with the drill bits. Can only be used with smaller bits, but it's great and lightweight, and precise for those smaller jobs, without adding a bunch of extra heft to whatever tool you're using, like an electric screwdriver. All in all, should get some good use out of this!

I bought a set of micro bits in just assume they were going to fit in my DeWalt to 12 volt drill but of course I didn't and I bought this adapter and now I can use these tiny things to work on my clay sculptures is this adapter saved me. If it's perfectly in my drilling works as described I love it

Shaft was bent causing drill to wobble.Small gauge drills are easy to break and wobbling the drill bit is a sure way to break the drill. I was disappointed in the Gyros chuck and will look for a better manufacturer. I may not buy any other Gyros products after this.

This is such a handy item to have. Works great - if you get a good one! Despite the packaging claims of improved quality, I've had two of these that were junk. Similar to issues with cheap dremel collets, the slots in the Gyros were cut so poorly - off center and with burs all over. I bought one locally and then one here on Amazon and both were so far from acceptable that they had to be returned. A replacement from Amazon was fairly decent so I kept it. Still not cut quite exactly the but the runout is tolerable enough to make it worth keeping (some runout with such tiny bits is pretty normal even with the good bits). So inspect yours and chuck it up for a test upon arrival and be prepared to do a return. These are made in India.

I tried three devices and this one is the one I used for my project. It seemed very accurate and held the very small drill bit centered. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a hex shank for drilling with super small drill bits.
