The perfect shirt for summers and living in a Island were summer is the 365/366 days of the year trust me its really good. The fit and style are very modern and thats very important to me. My son always look good and its super comfortable so he can play and swim with it. Another note is that I think it runs a little big. My son is 8 1/2 years and weights 71 pounds and he wears a small.

The color was perfect. The thickness was great for our fishing trip. Quality all together was worth the value of money.

We have been getting these for our son since he was 2-3 years old (so for several years now). They are awesome lightweight sun protection, including for swimming/rafting adventures and camping and hiking. They last extremely well, too - it is one of the few pieces of clothing that he doesn't destroy and we actually pass on!

Bought an XL, I have some women’s of these and wear a size M, the boy’s XL are a bit larger than a women’s M. Loved the color (gulfstream) and very comfortable.

I purchased this shirt in both the youth L and XL for myself (for reference I am about 5'6 and about 125 pounds). I currently own the women's version of this shirt in a size M but wanted to try the youth size because they are quite a bit cheaper. I believe the youth L fits closest to a womens M but the sleeves are slightly shorter. I was surprised to find the youth XL was much too big on me, the shirt itself was too long and the sleeves were too long.Overall, I think the shirt is great, its a light weight and comfortable material that provides UV protection. I prefer the womens sizing but the youth is comparable and the XL has long enough arms.I've uploaded a few photos to show the comparison between a womens M and the youth L and XL (the womens shirt is the purple one in the middle, the youth XL is the white, and the youth L is the blue).

My little guy is 30lb, the arms are a little long, but he’ll grow into before I know it! It’s so great for the summer. Just like the adult version you can wear even on the warmest of days, the material is so breathable and light. Love the blue too!
