Weco Wonder Shell Natural Minerals (3 Pack), Small

I have several mystery snails and the biggest injured his foot. He spent some time in snail ICU (a bowl with a small amount of tank water floated at the top of the tank) and he was of course sluggish. I added a little of one of these that I crushed into powder, and he perked up right away. I added another to the tank for him and my others and their shells look great and they are very active. Good price and works for my guys. As far as the flavor rating, ??? I dunno, they won’t tell me

This is overall a good product, though things can get tricky if you're not well-prepared. As another comment suggests, reading the writing from the guy named Carl on Everything Aquatic is a good start. Also, do read the link of the product that is included there, as that link is from a selling agency that has been experimenting with this product for many years. Don't trust the recommended amount written on the package. If your aquarium is initially low on hardness and electrolytes, to use the recommenced amount would cause a great stress to your fish (that's why some people's fishes are killed by the way). In the end, this is a good product. Read the writing of Carl and the link from that writing, you will be fine. My mystery snails are very active and healthy now.

I put 3 in my aquarium hoping to add some calcium and raise the PH level for my snails but it stayed at 6.4 - too low. I’ve moved on to try argonite now. I found them expensive and only lasted a month

I was worried about how sluggish my nerite snails were in my rather acid water so I broke the wondershell into small pieces and add a piece regularly in the same place in the water. The nerite snails moved straight over that side and hung around near them and got a lot more lively straight away.
