It will provide you with an excellent non-technical introduction to bitcoin. After reading this, you should go through a technical book to understand how it ‘really works’.

I generally don't write reviews but this is important, I think this is the Bible for anyone who is just starting out in this space.I don't read many books twice but this one is the exception. The book is really great. It explains the overall working of bitcoin simply without fluff and jargon. I think it's great for both technical and non-technical people alike. That does not mean bit coin is very easy to understand.I had to think hard and re read few chapters again to really absorb them.Tl; Dr; A great overall introduction to bit coin.

This is an absolutely fantastic book about the fundamentals of bitcoin explained in a manner that is easy to understand and memorable. I would recommend it to any beginner all the way up to a seasoned bitcoiner. Highly recommend!

It's a small book and I read it in an evening but worth it. I've often had trouble explaining some of the technical aspects of Bitcoin to potential converts and this helped: most notably with the "somebody could hack the code" objection.
