One Left: A Novel

The book was written to express and share a true, sad and painful experience. It has the facts and at the same time emotional turmoil of the person which make it so humane. It is indeed heart breaking and I did not finish the book soon as I need to pause while reading it. I still cannot fathom how can a human being do those things to another human being.

I know of the content of the book,the ordeal the women went through,without any compensation.

Well written story that makes you cry and understand the life of comfort women. It is really sad and beautiful.

I bought seveal translations by BJ Fulton, including this one. Their translation shows the beauty of Korean literature.
