Richard Stark's Parker: The Martini Edition - Last Call

Wow ! this edition is superb. Hands down to IDW for presenting this high quality edition of Cooke's Parker rendition. The over sized pages greatly enhanced the viewing experience of the exquisite Art of Darwin Cooke. Very high quality mat paper stock is used here. The binding is sewn so there is zero gutter lose.As for content, besides the first two Parker comics the book is jammed with so many extras. Especially the interview section in the first is so insightful. Overall a very refreshing edition.My highest recommendation.

I bought volume one of this early this year so this one was a must. I am a huge fan of Darwin Cooke's work and this doesn't disappoint. Stylistically quite different to a lot of his more mainstream comic work but just as beautiful. It's not cheap, but it is a fantastic package.

The book is everything I wished for but, there was no padding in the delivery box so the bookcase was damaged on the corner. Very unfortunate for such a great book.

This lavishly produced book is impressive but the way it was packaged was not, to say the least. It came in a thin, brown paperbag with no padding whatsoever, and it's a wonder that it only suffered a small nick on the cover and a crack in the slipcase. Nevertheless, it's annoying to buy an expensive and exquisitely made book, only to see it handled so carelessly.
