Beowulf (Oxford Children's Classics) Paperback – Import, 5 September 2013

The writing in this book is true to the original but accessible for children. However, I can't give it to my kids because of the super weird creepy pictures.

A combination of a favourite illustrator and author (who also happens to be an expert of this period) bought to share with my son who I am sure will enjoy the gruesome slant of the story. The picture book format is great for appreciating the illustrations - all in all a lovely book.

Lovely book

This would be a good introductory translation for someone, though it lacks the depth of some others.
