Pedro's Super Prestige Floor Pump

Works great - including the auto-valve mechanism.Its not shop quality as some others mentioned but certainly good enough for home use.

BRILLIANT BICYCLE PUMP... in every possible way. After totally wasting my time and money on two other brands, I decided to spend a little more more to purchase this heavy-duty pump. For only $20. more, the difference between this tire inflator and the other two is like "night and day." It's TWICE as well-made, TWICE as easy to pump, and with the added "bonus" of having the pressure gauge at the TOP of the unit is sheer genius, especially for someone with aging eyes like me. Better still, the TIRE VALVE on this pump fits any kind of valve stem PERFECTLY, also leaving all the other bicycle pumps in the dust. Don't waste your money on all the other pumps, this one is clearly superior to all others, especially with higher pressure tires. BUY IT!!!

I turn my wheel so my presta valve at 12:00, pointing down. I put my hand on the bottom of the pump head and push up into the valve then with my side locking current pump hold the head then turn the lever. On this pump head the lever is on the bottom of the head so I couldn't hold and lock. Returned for a loss cause the return shipping is quite a bit.

This pump was a little bit more money than some. But it was well worth it! The gauge is easily read. It inflates high pressure road bike tires with very little effort, which was the main factor for my buying this. Instead of fifty pumps with a cheapie, I can inflate my tires with only a few pumps.

The pump is stable and brings tires up to pressure quickly. The pump head automatically adapts to schrader or presta valves to provide a leak-free seal. The top-mounted pressure gauge is easy to read and has a red arrow on a rotating dial that can be set at the desired reading to make it easier to see when the correct pressure is reached. The only negative that reduced my rating from 5 to 4 stars is that there is no provision for the pump handle to lock on to the rest of the pump to make it easy to carry the pump by the handle - you have to grab it by the pump body. Otherwise a great product.

I've been sold on floor pumps for some time. Used an electric pump for a while, but the ones I had were noisy, and wore out quickly. My last floor pump had a two-sided piece at the end of the hose, one side for attaching the hose to Presta valves, and the other for Schrader valves. I only have Presta, and that side stopped working. Gave that pump away to a friend with Schrader tubes. This Pedro's Super Prestige pump has a "fits all" attachment at the end of the hose. It works. Works fine for my Presta valves, and I recently used it on two bikes with Schrader valves. Works perfectly.
