Sal Gabrini: Just The Way You Are (Sal Gabrini Series Book 7)

Bitter sweet is all I can say!!! Sal will always be the hardest hit when it comes to misfortune! However, alls well that ends well,,, at least for now!!!! 😏😏😏

Contains Spoilers!!I was rereading Mick's books and realized that I had to reread one of Sal's book to find out what had happened with Sal's baby at the hands of Joey Sinatra - Sal Gabrini: Just The Way You Are. There's no way to review this one without Spoilers. Joey was responsible for the kidnapping of Sal's and Gemma's newborn son, Sal, Jr. Why Joey would choose Sal's baby just to get money made no sense. Even then Joey didn't have any sense to think he could get away with it. Was there more than the money? Was he trying to drive a wedge between Mick and Sal even after Mick forgave Sal for killing her mother, Sprig, who was Mick's sister? Was Joey aware of the love Mick had for Sal and allowed jealousy overrule him?Up until the time of the kidnapping, there was one thing after another involving Gemma. Her office was ransacked and she was accused of having sex with a client and finally was pushed down stairs to cause her to give birth two weeks early. None of those things made any sense nor did they have anything to do with the baby's kidnapping other than the last one. Still, it didn't make much sense and wasn't tied together neatly. It did explain why Mick almost killed Joey and almost caused irreconcilable differences with Mick and Sal and Tommy and Reno. Happily, Sal allowed Mick to handle Joey as Mick had allowed Sal to handle his son Rudy. The book also answered questions about Sal's son, Rudy but other questions were left unanswered. Why did Mark's girlfriend, who was one of Rudy's prostitute kill him to keep him from talking? Why would Rudy involve himself in such a specious scheme - surely not just to hurt Sal. I still think Rudy was waste of time in all the books he appeared in. He did nothing to advance the plots of the books and just engendered extreme hatred for him.He caused unnecessary angst between Mick and Sal. There's still no answer to why Rudy was always behind the danger Sal often found himself in, often at the hands of his men. No answer was ever given to the reason Sal's men were so anxious to turn on Sal and even when Mick's men turned against him. I did understand the love Mick and Sal had for each other. The sex between Sal and Gamma was over the top and a bit much. Still, I wasn't able to put the book down until I finished it.Now, before rereading other Mick's books, I need to read Amelia's story. Perhaps, I won't find it necessary to read any more of Mick's books.

I couldn't believe all the living and back stabbing going on in this story. And Joey stealing Sal's baby. What was he thinking.

This book was awesome!!!!! Sal and Gemma are my second favorite couple (Mick and Roz first), and this book proved why I love them so much! They are just an amazing couple, and Gemma is truly a ride/die chick! Even though Mick overtook Sal as my favorite boss, I still have mad love for Salvatore Luciano Gabrini!! This story had it all; edge-of-your-seat drama, action, betrayal, love, great sex, and my absolute favorite thing - having my fab 4 together!!! Sal, Reno, Tommy, and Mick are so dynamic when they combine to join forces!! I really could read an entire book that focused on those 4 alone. I also have to say how much I truly enjoy the the brotherly love between Sal and Tommy! Their closeness use to irk me when this series first started, but now it's one of the strongest elements in this series.And I can never end a review without giving props to my Mick **sigh** - I really love that man!!!!!! That trunk/chain scene was so bad@ss!!! That's the Mick the Tick that I love, not the one that made an appearance in that last Big Daddy book. Mick is the baddest, deadliest, and posses more street smarts than all the men - lets forever keep it that way, Mallory. No more "dumbing him down" like you did in the last Big Daddy book.This story is a definite must read!!! Applause/applause, Mallory! You did an outstanding job with this one!!! And again, thank you so very much for doing right by your fans and not making us wait forever and a day for a new book - I start looking on your website 4 to 6 weeks after your latest release for an update on your upcoming book and you never disappoint. I'm already impatiently waiting for your next book. You rock, Mallory Monroe!!!!!

Reno has no business giving baby advise to Sal. That part of the book had me laughing out loud and just made these MADE guys more lovable. I have read all the series just waiting for Donald Sinatra's book. Keep up the goid work.

Where do I begin? Ok, how much I love this author and is always waiting for her books to come out. This is why I love Sal and Gemma so much, they are on point and is always into each other. Never doubting one another. This book had me on pins and needles from beginning to end. I can never predict what is coming next and I love it. Ok, each book that comes out is always my favorite, this author could not write a bad book if she tried. Ok, read the book to find out the he heck is going on and what happened lol, you won't be disappointed. Reno, my goodness he had me looking like a fool laughing so hard on the buss.I could not believe the crap that was coming out of his mouth lol. I had to close my kindle for a moment to compose my self. Mick Mick the Tick I do hope your book is coming out next. Sal is my favorite then Mick, Reno and Tommy. I love how the Gabrinis take care of one another and hope there is no hard feelings between Sal and Mick. Thank you again Ms Monroe for such a wonderful book.

The Gabriel clan is so full of controversies you cannot know what to expect. Apart from the story plot was so intense there were areas that had me in stitchesAnother winner for Mallory

This book will have you on the edge of f your seat one minute and laughing so the hard next just because of Reno and his description of pregnancy etiquette to Sal I wont spoil it for you read it for yourself. Ms M genius you have done it again loved, loved this book. More of Sal and Reno the comic duo :-). I would love another book on Tommy too. Spoiler alert pleaee get rid of joey.
