I donate printed duct tape to the Wildlife Center of Virginia, where it is used to create padded areas on the wings of Bald Eagle patients who are recovering in flight pens prior to release. These bumpers, as the staff calls them, go on the area of the wing that corresponds to a human wrist, an area that eagles in pens often brush against the screening during practice flights. The staff likes to use the printed tape, which covers padding that is placed on the wings, because it helps them quickly identify specific eagles when more than one share a pen. The day this box arrived, it was opened, and some of the tape was immediately used to make bumpers. The staff was very pleased with it. If it can stand up to the strength of an eagle, it will certainly do a great job as part of any kind of project.

I just love duct tapes with pretty design. The paint on my window sills are peeling. Duct tape to the rescue! They should be good this winter. Let's see what happen. Not to worry, I plan on replacing the windows next spring anyway.
