Excellent customer service; not for heavy thorns.

I would buy these again for lighter gardening needs.Original review:I bought these gloves to help me tackle a large amount of blackberry thorns in our garden. These gloves were fantastic the first time I used them. They are soft and supple. It’s May in the UK, so they’re not too hot. Day one, these gloves were outstanding. A few thorns made their way through the leather, but were easily removed. Fast forward one week (about 5 uses of 20-30 min each), I have multiple thorn punctures all over my hands. Due to the stretchy nature of the fabric on the back of the hands, I expected that. Sadly, I did not expect it all over my palms. These are good if you’re doing light gardening - pruning a few roses, but not for heavy duty tasks.

these are nicely made and comfortable. will be good for general gardening/diy, but I doubt that they will really stand up to dealing with thorny brambles/roses as the leather is fairly soft

Good quality
The XL size is a true XL size and they fit well. They err more on the comfort side than hard-wearing but for the price that is not a big issue. Much better than some of the more stylish gloves...Bosch I am thinking of you, where XL is X if you re lucky and they are not so robust.

Nice Quality Well Fitting. Garden Gloves
I mainly purchased these ‘Thornproof’ gloves for pruning our roses and clearing brambles in our garden.They are extremely comfortable to wear with a Velcro strap on the wrist to ensure the gloves stay on.I wouldn’t say that they are entirely thornproof! The thorns do penetrate through the leather on the palm of the hands and there is no leather protection for the back of your hands.Having now worn them they are nice gardening gloves and I will keep them but they are not exactly thornproof!
