Prolimatech PRO-GNSS-BK Genesis Black CPU Cooler for 120mm and 140mm Fans

This heatsink seems well made. It's heavy so I'm still worried someday it's going to start sagging before breaking off my motherboard. I've been using it for 1.5 years though and not one problem. The fasteners it comes with seem very well constructed.I was careful hooking it up, and double-checked the instructions numerous times just to make sure. Having done thatit locks in really nicely. The engineers of this heatsink did a good job I think.Since this thing's so heavy, it only seems natural that you have to get to the underside of the motherboard toplace some kind of support for this weight. Doing so'd be a hassle if you're doing an upgrade, but having built the computer from scratch it was fairly easy. Temps seem ok. I have nothing to compare it to, really. Seeing something this heavy connected to my motherboard is funny. My temps haven't seem to have changed over the span of a year and a half, so that may be an indication that it won't snap off of the mobo.

Core i7 3770k (the hot ones) OC'd to 4.2GHz right now, running idles at 37 on Core0 and loads at 60 or better. 2 Scythe Gentle Typhoons at 1450RPM in push/pull using the Prolimatech stock Thermal Paste that came with it. This paste is honestly better than Arctic Silver 5, and it ships with the heatsink. Installation was a snap, and it REALLY cranks down on there. The fin spacing is larger so you can get away with lower RPM fans on it. Honestly the best heatsink I've ever had the pleasure of using (and I've used quite a few.) Runs COOL and QUIET. Beautiful.
