PENGUIN The Berenstain Bears and the Bad Habit

My daughter TOTALLY related to Sister Bear in this book! My daughter absolutely couldn't stop nibbling her nails and would sneak around to do it.After reading this and discussing it with us... it helped her get a better understanding about it and why not to do it.Next thing you know, she kicked the habit! This was a great purchase for us! :)Highly recommended!

Really good book. The kids like the series and I grew up on them as well. It's simple, but they always have a great message and well thought out problem solving.

Bought this book to help my daughter with sucking her thumb. Didn’t really help but the Berenstain Bears are a classic so enjoyed the book anyways :)

My 2-year-old bites her nails, and she doesn't realize that it's bad to do that.Having this book is very helpful, she loves it, and seems very intersted interested in the story.The book not necessary help to break the hapit, but it help her to understand that it's a BAD habit and slowly she can overcome nail biting (if she wants) with the help of her parents.

Good discussion of nail biting. Does not make the kid feel bad for having a bad habit - very careful to talk about it being a habit and how habits are very hard to break. Still, my daughter continues to bite her nails :( we have tried lots of things...
