Don't believe these 1 star people!
Listen, this is a $35 stereo, that's REALLY ALL you need to know, but I'll elaborate a little. So for $35, the fact that it even works is a bonus, let alone all these features! Yes the housing is made of plastic and it's VERY lightweight, but I would think the plastic costs at LEAST $35 to manufacture and hey, you even get a cardboard box, 2 wiring harnesses and some instructions inside a ziplock envelope. How do you beat that? You don't! NOT for $35 or even $50! Ever buy a phone case for $100? Moving on, for $35, you get bluetooth, an SD card reader, MP3 player, a remote control and TWO sets of pre-outs! Anyone who complains about this stereo is IMHO an uneducated consumer! At this price point AND in the Pyle tradition, you get WAY more than you should expect and if it lasted you 1 Summer, again, it was a $35 stereo, go buy another one or invest in something that you feel would be better quality. I will say this though, I've had a Pi**neer AVEC touch screen fail on me within 1.2yrs and that stereo cost me $600 and that was for my truck. For my boat, I'm not concerned, YET and I was looking for a 'cheapy' just to see if I'm even going to commit to being a boat owner. This stereo performs perfectly, was a snap to install, didn't break the bank and I sound great connected to my SKAR SK65M's and a Pyle 1200w amp. One reviewer left a 1 star review as if she's soooo disappointed, because she even bought a set of $25 Lanzar speakers, LOL!! Maybe she should've just gotten a bluetooth speaker and called it a day? IDK Bottom line is, if you're even looking at this stereo, you're NOT looking to spend high end $$$, so don't expect high end quality, BUT DEFINITELY be prepared to be pleasantly surprised!

Was a great choice when I replaced my radio!
This Pyle marine stereo is fantastic! The sound is clear and powerful, perfect for my boat. Bluetooth pairing is quick and reliable, and the built-in mic makes hands-free calls easy. I love the digital LCD display and the variety of input options—USB, SD, MP3, and AM/FM radio. Installation was straightforward, and the remote control is a nice bonus. Durable, stylish, and high-performing—highly recommend for any boat owner looking to upgrade their sound system!

Inexpensive receiver with a lot of good features.
Pyle Marine receiver. This inexpensive receiver has a lot of good features. Here are some comments. The Bluetooth connects very well and automatically plays your last streaming station. Pause, play and skip song work through the receiver's Bluetooth as well. The digital tuner does a good job of grabbing some far away stations and playing them without static. It puts out plenty of power to my 5-1/4 in speakers and will play louder than I want to hear it. I think this is a very nice receiver for the price I paid. I suppose if I were able to do a side-by-side comparison with a more expensive unit I might find some differences. But out on the lake in my pontoon boat listening to music on the Pyle sounds just fine to me and is a big improvement over the original unit in the boat that still had a cassette player. The installation was a little tricky as I'm not a pro. At first the unit would not power up and I was planning to return it because I thought it was DOA. Then I learned that in addition to power and ground there is a little red accessory wire that must also be connected to power either through ignition or accessory switch. Once I did that everything was fine. I wonder if this is the same situation some other reviewers have encountered that said their unit wouldn't work. The installation instructions are a little sketchy for a novice and could have been more helpful to save the company some unnecessary returns and bad reviews. The wiring harness is very cheap and could be improved with better wires. I had a little trouble connecting my new 16 gauge copper speaker wires to the crappy 22 gauge aluminum wires on the harness as the harness wires were brittle and kept breaking in the crimp connector. I eventually solved this by twisting the wires together the old fashioned way and using the crimp connector as a cap over the twisted wires rather than a bridge between them as it is designed for. The harness wires are only about 6 in long. You can't redo them too many times before you get in trouble and don't have any wire left so be careful. The display is not as bright as I hoped it would be and is a little tough to see on a sunny day. The remote control is infrared not RF. So you have to point it right at the receiver in order to get it to work. I'm not so sure I understand the benefit of controlling the unit with a remote when I am sitting right at the console. So I tossed the remote in the glove box and it will probably stay there for a long time. I'm not sure why but the Pyle instructions say that the unit should be setting level for best result, but my console panel is angled down. It seems to be working fine so I'm going to leave it alone. I'm not going to mess around trying to put in an angled bezel unless it gives me trouble. I like the unit a lot but I can't give it five stars because of the cheap wires on the harness.

Great stereo for my Jeep
Great little deck for my older Jeep. Good value for what it is and hopefully no one will steal it with the top off. Its easy to connect my Bluetooth to. I wont use the remote control but nice to have the remote and works well. Has a good noise levels. The USB port is great for charging my phone.

DO NOT BUY FROM PYLE!!!! NO PRODUCT SUPPORT!!!
I recently purchased this unit to replace an older marine stereo that had a failing controller panel. I correctly wired the harness to the wires (I even checked with my multimeter) and it will not power up. Twice (once a few weeks ago and recently 4 days ago) I have used Pyle's Contact Us form and I have not received any response. At this point, I would like a refund and I can purchase a unit from another manufacturer. —- Update —- So I finally got a response from Pyle. The emailed me a few times asking for my information then no response until the day after my return window closed. They told me request a return from Amazon and admitted that the return window closed and I likely would not get a return or refund. Companies like this should be put out of business. Pyle is a complete scam.

Light weight ,mine works great could not be happier I bought it
Thinking I wonder if something that doesn’t cost much would be a descent radio? Buy this !! Haven’t had in weather yet but just testing on boat very easy to change any settings ,this is light weight,I thought this gonna sound like crap especially for the price . Me personally I would buy another boat just to put this in! Joking but this is a nice radio and easy to maneuver thru settings

Great power and looks amazing!
Got this for my van for some more and easy power to my 4 van speakers. 75w x 4 at max settings is a lot and could even power better speakers. Mine a rated at 75w max RMS. Can barely turn the bass all the way up. Great sound and performs very well. My only disappointment is it not having a mid range adjustment. Amazing quality, looks and performance for such a great price. My pictures show day and night lighting so you can see how much more blue it is at night. The contrast of the white lights was a little hard to capture but it looks great and super clean.
