This is a well made product that is designed so the two sides fit together securely so it lines up properly. The air flow is better than the vents with the cardboard insert. It comes with a pattern to help cut the hole and has different length screws for different door thicknesses. This is better than many of the more expensive vents. I used it for a bathroom door and it has allowed the exhaust fan to work much better.

Had a bathroom with poor ventilation. The vent worked, but couldn't get enough recovery air. Shower steam disappeared once this was installed. The materials aren't the best. It's plastic, so you know what you're buying. You need to be moderately skilled to install it, mainly cutting the hole in the door correctly. It does the job, but minus one star for the quality of the plastic.

The template for the cuts is heavy stock paper making it easy to trace, even on a textured door. Provides a centerline making alignment easy. Links to a helpful video provided but weren't needed. Multiple options for thickness provided making it possible to install in many places. This should help our bathroom breath a little better both when the door is closed for privacy but also when the exhaust fan is on for showering. Door closes more firmly now too since there's no air pressure generated. Louvers can be counter aligned to ensure privacy as well. Be sure to use a level determining your positioning; this wasn't on the recommended tool list but should be. A version with a damper would be great so you could open or close multiple vents to work for seasonality of room air temps.

This fit my door well and allowed the door to close properly. I have a pantry in my laundry room and that door always had air behind it now this fixed that issue.

Excelente rejilla, soluciono mi problema de humedad en el baño, fácil de instalar trae sus tornillos y una platilla para marcar donde va el corte.

Remember to use the right length of screw - depending on the thickness of door. One set is way too long and goes through the other side.
