It comes with a card backing that says "Prohibition of water cleaning" and "into the dishwasher is strictly prohibited". So clearly it's a piece of rubbish as it is going to rust. Why say "Stainless steel" in the name of the product if water is not allowed to touch it? That's the whole point of stainless steel and why I bought this. This is totally fraudulent rubbish, run a mile from this.Nowhere on the packaging does it mention stainless steel, because it isn't stainless steel.

Not any good at all unfortunately would not open any tins at all. A Complete waste of time.

Absolutel rubbish, broke on first use, not worth the money. My previous can opener served me many many years snd was held the price. Honestly this product deserves no stars.

What a shame this can opener is quite difficult to use. Even after a little OLIVE oil it became impossible for me to open the can. It's very well made and sturdy, and someone with stronger wrists than me would probably find it ok.

Found this to be poor and had to buy a different one

Love old fashioned kitchen stuff

I purchased this back in October 2023, we are only week & half into December and it already doesn’t work. It no longer turns. Cogs don’t seem to catch anymore. Have seen these type of openers a lot cheaper but tried this one as stupidly I thought would be better quality by paying more. Silly me. Save your money & if you are going to purchase this type of opener just go for cheaper one then you can probably get about 5 of them compared to what I paid for this.

My old can opener wad so old it was made in England this chinese replacement works ok but seems a bit flimsy the rivet is a bit loose dont think it will last as long as my old English one that broke after about 30 years of use they don't make them like that antmore
